Interesting how she considers herself an "animal."

Perhaps the fairy is a sort of projection or method of talking, as she is actually the animal she's riding?

Interesting how she considers herself an "animal." In the Forest it's probably synonymous with "people".

The fairy is just sad she didn't get invited to the last party. I'm sad with her.
Luckily she'll make it to this one. Better late than never, right?
Her eyes are really cool looking though.

Interesting how she considers herself an "animal." And why would you suppose she is not?

Interesting how she considers herself an "animal." In the Forest it's probably synonymous with "people". Technically, we're all animals. Definition-wise and physically, all of us. Emotionally and mentally, at least some of us, maybe all of us. I think Canvey is right about her lying. She's clearly dishonest. Check out how her hair doesn't go straight up. Devious hair, I say. Devious.

But, you should have followed that up, with a really long "Pbth!"

pppbbbbbbbtttthhhhh! I'm not too late, am I? Never.(Hm... Something I just noticed: no dots on the shoulders mean she isn't a regional fairy; this probably explains the pupils as well.) Indeed. Some of us have speculated that she may be a sort of outcast because of this. People keep saying she has pupils. It might be more accurate to say grey irises, like the fairies after taking the test, depicted here (although Red is drawn with faded pupils on this title page). Very curious.

Goddamn it, this is going to be another of those 'learn half of the truth and no more' chapters, isn't it? Which are, in fact, the best kind of chapters.
Also, did anyone else catch that there is a subtle implication that the fairy is not from the forest? The way Toad is describing this, she does not seem to be in the people he considers 'in the forest'. Totally half-called it. Gotta take what I can get. EDIT: in the sense of 'she is not from the forest because otherwise she would contradict him' which was what I had originally meant. Though, of course, she could still be from elsewhere

Silly fairy, you're not an animal.

Or... we are about to observe the fairy experiencing the wikipedia effect: rumor mills supply inane misconceptions and/or blatant propaganda on topics you happen to actually know... and valuable information on everything else.

Some of us have speculated that she may be a sort of outcast because of this. She does have two dots on her cheeks, which makes me wonder whether she's the same clan 'twodot' as Red and Blue (I suppose we shouldn't call her 'Green', or the other one 'Blue' for that matter?) Anyway, she would appear to be grumpy about something. I wonder if it's because she missed out on a sendoff by Ysengrin? [edit]... OK, so dots on shoulders are what define fairy regions.

Or, Tom's art style and method of drawing the fairies has evolved since chapter eight. . . naaaah.

Your choice of thread-title is exactly what I had in mind.. Interesting how she considers herself an "animal." As opposed to the "humans" of the Court?
