Also, lots of might in this page. Handy how Ale & Wenches masks some typos.

No replies 33 minutes in? What am I supposed to lurk?
I hope the bonus page is of Kat and Mort saying their definitely not sappy goodbyes.

Somewhere in this place are a lot of eyeballs.
...and, maybe, an ocean of tears.

I always expected some kind of stairway to heaven, but of course the ether is everywhere. They can just walk away in any direction and disappear.

I am sad, but not so sad as I would have expected. Mort choose to go, that's fine for me. Annie is accustomed to those sorts of departure. Kat... Well. Kat is a bit hyperemotiv like me so... She will get back on horse soon. And probably will go see Paz to share the pain. And talk about scaring people. And... The clowns. And Paz will get mad at Annie (because since Mort is gone in the ether, she can't talk to him anymore) and... TADAAAAAAAAAM!

I wonder if it's just like a hard reset, where the energy from the soul is simply "erased" and given a clean slot into the ether since he's apparently going to start forgetting his memories.
Which, in all honesty, sounds kind of sucky.

Cue everyone waiting on edge until friday. I'm hyped.
Imagine if Kat perceived the process as something out of Ghostbusters.

That's Kat. "Be kind, rewind." It would have been hilarious, if the eye went "EYAHAHAHAHAHA!" when it rewound. Mort and Annie cringing, while Kat banged on its side.
Looking forward to Ether goodness. Also curious as to, what Kat will see.

If the eyeball is the tape, I wonder what the VCR looked like.

Those three avatars in a row look like a mini-comic of Annie with food poisoning.

It would have been hilarious, if the eye went "EYAHAHAHAHAHA!" when it rewound. Or, since it would be rewinding, "!AHAHAHAHAHAYE"

So, the ether MURDERS (destroys your memories) you? Definitely don't go in, Mort. The ether is evil.

Queue the filler page of the two ROTD guys having tea with sad expressions in a room filled with all of Mort's "Fun Time" stuff surrounding them. I'm sure they will miss him too.

Mort is such an upbeat, laid back little guy. I'm glad he's had a good run as a ghost and he feels ready to move on. Looking forward to seeing what happens next. It's been swell, Morty, good to have known you!

So, to me, the saddest thing on this page is the implications.
Annie said that Mort will probably start losing his memories when he enters the ether. Assuming Ankou didn't tell her that, she must have learned that when she led her mother into the ether...

To me, it implies that when they go into the ether, their memories go first. You know, the stuff that Coyote & co are made of ...
But what's left behind to lose those memories?

No wonder she is still so resentful towards the guides for having had to do that.

Kat and Mort's bromance is just adorable. I wonder how Parley and Smitty might react though?

Welcome to the forums, Ironyz!
I love the zen look on Annie's face in the second panel. Also, quadruple guns are cute, of course, and I can't help but feel sorry for the poor eyeball.
