You didn't say ANYTHING to her Annie? Not even goodbye? No doubt there are things that would be valuable for Annie to know, but Surma didn't see as appropriate or relevant at the time.

You didn't say ANYTHING to her Annie? Not even goodbye? Tch, tch Annie..spend all that time with the guides and then you don't even go through the usual process with your own mother. How could you. /s

Without bumping my thread, would someone tell me how to delete a thread? I like the prestige of being the Thread King and everything, but I'm going to just leave page discussion threads to you, Gotolei.

Delete your reply, then delete the thread.

I like the prestige of being the Thread King and everything, but I'm going to just leave page discussion threads to you, Gotolei. I'm deliberately leaving Monday and Wednesday alone, unless it goes for 10+ minutes without a thread Threads are only deleted when all the posts are gone. Can delete your own posts by using the gear menu thing next to the like button.

also, you have my sympathy. Being the one to start the discussion thread can be addictive.

This kinda reminds me of Fire Spike, with Annie being caught by surprise in something related to her mother's death.
Hope she doesn't snap again.

You didn't say ANYTHING to her Annie? Not even goodbye? Doesn't matter what she did or didn't say, little Annie didn't think to record it for the future generations or give it for the RotD to preserve.

This kinda reminds me of Fire Spike, with Annie being caught by surprise in something related to her mother's death. Hope she doesn't snap again. Last time she went through two or three stressful/angering events in a row culminating in a full-on hate war with one of her closest buddies, who tells her that she killed her mother (we know she didn't but she didn't know she didn't.) This time... wait, why would she be particularly angry, anyway? I, too hope she doesn't snap. It doesn't seem like a big problem though.

My thoughts exactly. You know, if we're placing bets on who is going to snap, my money is on Kat; she's already kind of irritated with this guy, and he's now being snotty with her best friend about an incredibly painful subject over something Annie would not have understood at the time anyway.

I'd imagine hearing things from Rey would be more traumatic. Hearing noise from this guy just makes him an a&&%*^e. I'd hope she could handle that.
Now, I wonder what did go on between Surma and Annie, at the end. After all, Surma had to go through the same thing. She must of had something to say, to help her daughter through it.

I do not think that Annie identified as a psychopomp before this moment...

To be fair to the Robes Guy, a psychopomp who doesn't know how to do their job must be something new... There is obviously tension between the ghosts and the Psychopomps, we saw that when we say the receptionist at the start of the chapter.
And is it just me or are they abusing their power somewhat here? They came with the mission of discovering more about Jeanne, and ended up thinking about looking up celebrities?

Plot Twist- Annie wasn't supposed to lead her mother into the ether, the actual guide just got stuck in traffic and was running late! HAHA! Funny, right? .... no? I should just stop trying to make jokes about people dying? Ok, I guess that's fair. I'll save the rest of this list for Monday.

To be fair to the Robes Guy, a psychopomp who doesn't know how to do their job must be something new... Indeed. Who trained this girl, anyway?.. There is obviously tension between the ghosts and the Psychopomps, we saw that when we say the receptionist at the start of the chapter. And is it just me or are they abusing their power somewhat here? They came with the mission of discovering more about Jeanne, and ended up thinking about looking up celebrities? Technically, everyone they looked up were potential leads - Surma included.
