I just hope those jerks remember to rewind the VHS before they place it back into The Vault of Memory

Remember: Be kind, rewind!
Oh VHS rental shops.. we probably won't miss you ever.
I'm also curious if Kat's just seeing the only relevant things, which is why it's so bare in here, or if these are actually all the items available, meaning that the room materialized specifically for the visitors.

I remember making a little mechanism to speed things up. But those things had advantages over MP3 players; try repairing them with a bit of sellotape. Was it an electric drill with the end of a pencil chucked in it?

I used to push in the button on the sides of VHS tapes to let me open the little flap, and then I'd just start pulling the tape out as much as I could before my mom found me. that's horrifying

A friend of mine made a remark today about the recent comics that made me go like Kat here. Kat is seeing old technology like rolodex and VHS because she is seeing technological afterlife. She's seeing obsolete, "dead" technology. Tom, you're brilliant.

Say, just what kind of sarcastic insult is "the Life of the Party" in the "Realm of the Dead", anyway?
