Hi there,
I've been thinking about getting a tattoo and one of the first ideas that popped into my head was to get the court symbol as I love all the symbolism that is involved in the comic. Another idea was to have one of the panels but I can't decide and would like some help! Does anyone have any GK tattoos or can someone with a better knowledge and memory point out a panel that would make an awesome tattoo?
Please and Thank-you!

I would get Court and Forest symbols, one on each side, just to keep the whole theme of duality Besides that there are loads of things that would make good tattoos- most of Tom's drawings don't have a humongous amount of lines. Then there was this guy, who might be able to give you some inspiration: (click on the date next to his name to view the original post with the attachments)This is a tattoo of coyote from this comic, I loved how the character was made and shown. It's not filled in or colored yet.

Oh my gosh thank you both. That Coyote one looks amazing! Would love to see the finished result, I love Tom's colours.
Eversist you are phenomenal! So much inspiration here. I love the whole swooshy art. I definitely want the court symbol or maybe the Antimony symbol. Then if I don't pass out from pain or freak out over the permanence of it I will get a swooshy one!

Make sure it is something that you will still like in 50 years.

A while ago I saw someone who had a Coyote tattoo. 'Twas beautiful. Regardless, let's hope that this comic survives in the public gestalt for another fifty years! Otherwise no one will recognize your tattoo

Otherwise no one will recognize your tattoo One of the nice things is that since Tom is drawing from common mythologies, much of the imagery has already withstood the passage of the time and should be recognizable on some level even if the name Gunnerkrigg Court were unrecognizable to the observer. Also, +50 points for using gestalt in casual conversation
