Good page. I'm glad that:
a) Tom addressed Annie feeling like she was losing Kat, which was the only thing that her sitting outside of the tree room could have represented, and without some kind of resolution, it felt a bit off.
b) Tom addressed Kat being worried that Annie might be homophobic in that last panel. Until now, I was a bit worried that Rey's comments on Annie might just go unresolved, but Tom's resolving that, so good job.

I suspect that the next page will be Annie asking what Kat meant by 'freaked out', asking why she thought that, what Renard said, etc. Obviously Annie knows that this is a relationship thing, that was clear from the beginning of the conversation. |

I think she was confused about why Kat would think she had homophorbz I think she's just straight up not aware of the concept of homophobia. It's reasonable that she might just be that naive. She grew up around ghosts and her mom, and assuming that Surma wasn't a huge homophobic bitch, it makes sense that she might just not get why Kat dating Paz would be weird. |

If she can't see Paz clearly, she couldn't see Kat as well(Kat was mostly obstructed by Paz in the kissing scene). And if Annie's short-sighted, why don't she wear glasses? |
