Anyone else hate how far away Friday feels? It feels approximately like 26 hours, 22 minutes, and 21 seconds 'til the next Gunnerkrigg page is up...such anticipation. Much wait. Anybody know if there's a way to pass multiple weekdays to wolfram|alpha or something similar? I've got this but that's assuming it's the next day. Or perhaps on timeanddate.com? *goes to look

It's just annoying when this dude comes in and buys a pound of Pecan Bud. "FUCK YOU TURN AROUND THERE ARE PREPACKED BOXES BEHIND YOU."

The days just go by that way. Wasted and unproductively, because nothing really develops from them, but fun nonetheless. Edit: Oh, and puns. I like to think about puns to pass those days by.

Yes, that's exactly what I was asking. I'm gonna try plugging a tesla claw into w|a and see if that makes it counts down to the next comic update, thanks in advance

Random idea I had for the forum: what if we had an ELI5 thread, to summarize some of the more convoluted plot points (freaking Spring Heeled I don't even), and maybe serve as a place for Q&A?

I think that'd be great, but all the Goddess/Tragedy theorists, myself included, will quickly warp young, impressionable minds to the dark side.

Today I am shopping. Trying to decide what to buy, limiting myself to under $50 total in the store. I am pretty sure I want the pin. Kinda strongly leaning towards Treatise 4. Thinking about the Coyote/Moon Print. Also looking closely at the other Treatise. Debating picking up book one. Decided to consult the hive mind... what should I buy you guys?!

Buy me one of everything.

Buy me one of everything. If only I had that kind of money. Actually, if I had that kind of money there are so many things I would be trying to do with it. GKC specific fan conference anyone? Foundation that funds community based projects to support individuals with depression living below the poverty line? Angel investing in small arts related businesses? So many things. But seriously... my $50 limit is what it is... So hard to decide between the prints!

GKC specific fan conference anyone? I would show up and pretend to be a janitor just to see what kind of people read this comic in real life.

Now we'll have a conference with no guests but a hundred janitors! At least it will be a clean conference! On a side note: You guys are no use as shopping buddies at all! I have the pin, treatise 4, and the coyote moon print in my cart and can snag one more print before I hit my spending limit and I simply CANNOT make up my mind between one of the other treatises, or the Jeanne print!

Which one though? Which one? (I am eyeing up 5 and 3 pretty heavily.) Damn. That's a reaaaaally difficult choice. 3 4 and 5 are my favs. I would say three, if I HAD to choose.

I'd go with three. A little more flow and a little less clutter.

Hey guys. I figured out why boxbot is terrible! Boxbot is a smoke/carbon monoxide detector with a perpetual low battery beep and no one has been able to figure out how to open the battery compartment door yet. (I've been up since 5:30 on a Sunday. Last night was game night. This is terrible.)

This seems to be the right thread for this kind of thing? I hope? I recently learned how to make gifs, and I wanted to share with you my first attempt: imgur_post. If people like it I might start making GK related gifs in the future . Also - give me ideas for GK related gifs.

In my version, his love interest figured out what direction the story was going and didn't like it. So she got him to hide from pursuit aboard a ship while she distracted the pursuing guards... and the ship left the harbor. Then she went on to a successful career as a D&D Bard.
