On other subjects, this is the 100000th post on the board (according to the web-address, which I think counts deleted posts).
And also the first post on a new page. Woot!

I just wanted to say that no one in all the Cucumber Quest threads I'm vaguely lurking in has noted that the character in the latest banner is clearly Saturday
who is obviously the lost twin of Parfait because I can hardly register in any of those places just to say that can I.

I am bummed. I want to head down to MoCCA this weekend because of the rare opportunity to meet Tom, I have work obligations in the greater Boston Area both Saturday and Sunday and it just isn't feasible for me. I was hoping to pick up signed copies of Annie in the Forest 1 & 2. Any chance any of you lovely folks are going and we could coordinate something?

Two weeks ago I was traveling home and had to stop in Vermont of all places, so I went to the Ben and Jerry's flavor graveyard in nearby Waterbury and laid a wreath at the headstone of Tennessee Mud.
I felt like I put a demon to rest that day.

I see a tragic lack of Me in the comic recently. (Pout)

And of course, thanks to my exams, I can't attend ComicCon this May's end.

Today I was watching people give presentations on their lives in German class, and one woman included a panel from Gunnerkrigg Court in her one of her slides.
I asked her about it during the break, but alas, she said it was just a random image she took from the internet, and didn't know about the comic.
I think this is my first Gunnerkrigg sighting in the real world. It's an eerie feeling, for some reason.

Also, I've just been to Mangafox forum for the manhwa Noblesse. Noblesse is win. So very win. Never thought I'd register. But hey, Noblesse is a webcomic, so yeah.

I was not wearing my glasses, so I couldn't get a real good look, but it looked like the library from the recent chapter with Mort. I was about to take out my phone and snap a pic when she changed slides.

Hmmm... general discussion... ok, let's take a shot. I'm working on a "Civilization" game where the forum goers shape a civilization and deal with threats thereof to it (I've done a couple before). What I'm looking for now is "tweaks" to the Civilization the heroes can choose, such as "Steampunk: The Civilization starts with knowledge of explodey things and is better at technology." If anyone has ideas for "Tweaks" that the heroes can choose before the Civilization gets underway, I'd love to hear them. My previous Civilization game ran about 60 pages before I had to call it quits due to real life, and the next one I'm doing is starting up in September (I hope, depends on living situation). For the previous Civilization, go here: goblinsforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=752 if you want to get a read on how I do those things. And yes, once I get this started (when my living situation is more stable), I'll be inviting you guys to join in. Edit: There's a link to the "discussion" thread I'm doing for "Civilization 6" in my signature. Throw thoughts there too if you want.

Since I don't have a Twitter account and don't feel comfortable emailing Tom directly, I'll just post some of my ideas here and hope Tom sees it: Coyote, Muut, and some of the other mythological figures playing poker (inspired by one of the Twitter responses). Ysengrin and Coyote at an Anwyn party. Jones depicted with one or more of her historical friends. A wallpaper version of the simulated origin of the court in Chapter 23. Annie learning the life stories of a penguin and a dragon.

It's far past high time for a Coyote-themed wallpaper! (In the first one, I was less than 3% of the total wallpaper area - that doesn't count.)

Sorry I'm late to this thread.
"eerie"? I'd totally flip out. I'd probably be the odd guy who stood up in the middle of class to be like "Ohmygawd guys, I know that comic!" I know I'm supposed to be a reasonably mature sophomore, but I really wouldn't be able to hold in such happiness. A shame really, this comic deserves all the publicity it can get.

I want someone to render Coyote, Annie and some of the cast in 3D... there should be some programs out there that do that, right?

Wonder if it would be possible to get a Coyote "skin" texture for my Second Life MLP avatar... Considering my shapeshifting powers, how do you know that any skin is not Me in disguise? But I agree, my original body is the most attractive in every way.

Hey, on another subject, is anyone here willing to help the Spanish-translators turn Spanish plaintext into glorious Gunner-ified pages, or at least teach me how to? I lack the proper scripts at the moment.

Ok. I just had a cool idea. Imagine that there was an attempt to create Gunnerkrigg Court out of an ensemble cast from other fictional works. What characters from elsewhere most neatly match our beloved Gunnerverse-characters? Ysengrin=Saijin Komamura Kat=Agatha Heterodyne
My contribution haha

I actually did get that urge but I restrained myself and came up to her later to ask her about it. Actually, she was several months pregnant at the time so for one heart-stopping moment I thought Gulby had been in my class for four semesters and I didn't even know it.
