>drawl symptomsWhut the sam heck are you talkin' about, yankee? ...I don't understand. D: Oh boy. A Drawl is the name given to the 'cowboy' or Southern accent, here in the Land of the Free. You went to say 'withdraw' but messed up. GK Sierra was poking fun at you.

You went to say 'withdraw' but messed up. (withdrawal) Right... My spelling and pronunciation is a disaster, so... A lot of words I've read but never heard.

Right... My spelling and pronunciation is a disaster, so... A lot of words I've read but never heard. We are in totally the same boat. I always know what words mean, but I never use them in conversation because I have no friggin clue how to say them.

I realized I was wrong at some point, I think. But I just didn't bother looking for the answer until I finished the series

This just reminded me of something: Who put the stars in the sky?Coyote isn't the only godlike being in the Gunnerverse. There may be others on par or even superior to him. They just haven't shown up yet (and my guess is they never will because the story focuses on Gillitie Forest and the court), but I can imagine Coyote getting into real trouble if he's tricking the wrong guy/gal/genderless being.

True. Though he did successfully steal the moon without *ANYBODY* knowing - so he can out-trick everybody on the planet.

Clearly, he turned his bag of holding inside out, put it over his head and walked through space.

Wow, how totally derailed this thread is. If you hadn't read the title, you couldn't possibly from this page realize what the subject is.
Edit: or you could, but it would have nothing to do with Coyote, or GKC theories for that matter.

True. Though he did successfully steal the moon without *ANYBODY* knowing - so he can out-trick everybody on the planet. Not necessarily. Perhaps someone knew but didn't do anything about it (out of amusement or the supernatural knowledge Coyote would set things right again and no harm would be done). Also consider who told the story. Maybe some occurrences were left out.

Yes, or that someone came and told him to put the moon back or else. Not that I think it's likely. But it could have been that way. I doubt Coyote would share this. ;-)
