You have a great choice of pseudonym, by the way. Does it follow the usual pattern of being an anagram of your real name? Thank you! No it's not an anagram or anything else, I actually made it all up by myself!

Really? I read it as more of a mildly humorous exaggeration, like "I'm moving a little further away" if you go to Australia, or "Ah so you do this a lot then" if you do it more than once. maybe it's a british thing. This is what I read it as, and I'm American, so maybe it's a British and American thing? I don't know. On an unrelated note: Renard, how did it take you a full panel in stuffed-animal form to think up a witty remark? That should be an instant joke, right there! You missed your chance.

Everyone talking about Rey's form-switching. Nobody wonders how quickly the situation escalated from "hanging out" and "friend" to "kissing" and "girlfriend"? I mean what you do is one thing, but when it changes names in your head - then it's a milestone. I think it was established that they both kinda wanted it to go this way, plus we don't know how much in-comic time has gone by.

1. I can't believe she just told him. Would have expected Annie to but not Kat. 2. Rey don't be a creep. (I was 100% wrong on this one but I still don't see how I thought he was past that haha)

She doesn't have to second-guess Paz anymore, and now that Annie knows she doesn't see the point in hiding it from Rey. (Who already knew she was into girls anyway). It'd be interesting to see who else she tells though.

I actually like how other than the awkward self discovery phase there has been very little angsting from Kat, which is a refreshing change from a lot of coming out arcs. She worked through her stuff, she likes girls (or at least likes Paz), and she's ok with that.
Not that those wangsty coming out stories aren't all well and good, but it's nice to see something different.

Hahaha, another week. Hope really does springs eternal I guess. ;D You have a great choice of pseudonym, by the way. Does it follow the usual pattern of being an anagram of your real name? I was going to say the same thing. znntqkumxh is kind of awesome as a username, and I'd love to hear if there's a story behind it.

I wouldn't say that; I'd say it was more angsty but under the rug, and it all happened well before Paz came into the picture.

I wouldn't say that; I'd say it was more angsty but under the rug, and it all happened well before Paz came into the picture. After realizing that there was the possibility that she was into girls and that people might perceive her as gay, she was a little jumpy, yes, but other than that there wasn't that much angsting compared to other coming out arcs. I thought she was pretty much over it after "Divine" though.

Clueless, Kat fulfills Rey's secret and oddly specific "lesbian foot fetish". Clever boy.
It's a good sign, that she's opening up about it. If Annie gives her any grief, she may be able to shoot it down, and tell her to shut up. Though, I'm still hoping for confetti and streamers.

Ignoring the humourous-lech aspects of Reynardine's personality, he doesn't seem to care very much about same-gender relationships. But then, what does gender really matter to shapeshifters, or to someone who can swap bodies (which pretty much amounts to the same thing?)
Reynardine has always had a "male" personality (not trying to get into gender-politics, but I think most people would agree with me that's the way he acts) but suppose Annie had been carrying around a Strawberry-Shortcake doll or a MLP toy: do you think it would have had any effect on Rey? Is it maybe the same sort of situation Hettie was in?

I suppose he did end up playing with those figurines Kat left him...

Can't tell if you're being serious or not, but the "pervy guy wants to see 2 girls kiss" is a a very commonly-used joke. You might disagree with what it's supposed to imply, and whether or not it's funny or overused, but that's the standard scenario it shows up in most often. Hetty was in a female-doll's body, and she acted as female, mostly, referring to Reynardine as her "boyfriend" (I think). When the Hetty-spirit emerged from the doll, it was this giant shrimp-ghost thingy, not a human spirit like we'd seen elsewhere. The idea of shapeshifters, spirits, elementals, and all the other weird stuff makes me think that some of them might (to twist the TVTropes version) have a blue-and-orange version of gender identity and/or sexuality, as compared to humans.

Renard is a male name, and other characters typically refer to Renard as 'he'. The wolf doll was sexually androgynous, if Renard identified as female (if spirits have genders anyway) he/she could easily have taken a more feminised wolf form. If Renard had been captured inside the Hetty body instead... Well I don't know, maybe hetty would have started wearing trousers... The spirits do seem to be able to modify their host bodies to an extent anyway, see Renard's various forms he has taken as a wolf.

Thank you for that I think girlRenard would be pretty cute, especially when he* reluctantly gives into his feminine side
