Why does he switch forms? Is it because it's much more difficult to be snarky and inappropriate as a noble-looking wolf?

Kinda concerned about the "again" and talk of it being a habit. How often does Annie do this? Why does he switch forms? Is it because it's much more difficult to be snarky and inappropriate as a noble-looking wolf? "Well, the mind is nothing but a plaything of the body, correct?" [ 413]

I think Rey is taking on the parts of the personality of the body he is inhabiting (if a stuffed toy can be said to have a personality)? That's how I've always explanied his personality switching in my head, anyway... The wolf form seem to be closest to who he really is. Edit: Wow, you got a lot of answers, thedoctor! ^^

"Well, the mind is nothing but a plaything of the body, correct?" [ 413] Tom said somewhere that Renard chooses his form based on his mood, despite what that quote would suggest.

Also, I think it's at least partly because it's really difficult to make that version of Rey look anything but regal. Has been done (medium selection scene), but REALLY difficult.

Aw c'mon, Kat. Renard's gonna be completely useless helping you out unless you let him get all the naughty comments out of his system first!

She's just talking about last summer isn't she? and Firespike That's only one time, though. And it may have quite a fiasco, but Reynardine's comment makes it sound like it has happened since. ETA: Ninja'd. I need to start checking before I post...

Really? I read it as more of a mildly humorous exaggeration, like "I'm moving a little further away" if you go to Australia, or "Ah so you do this a lot then" if you do it more than once. maybe it's a british thing.

And that's why Antimony couldn't talk to Renard about Kat and Paz. "Well, the mind is nothing but a plaything of the body, correct?" [ 413] Tom said somewhere that Renard chooses his form based on his mood, despite what that quote would suggest. You know, that Renard changes his form to suit his mood was never in question and that has nothing to do with impact his body has on his mind. I think the formspring answer was another Siddell non-answer and the situation's actually a dynamic.

Everyone talking about Rey's form-switching. Nobody wonders how quickly the situation escalated from "hanging out" and "friend" to "kissing" and "girlfriend"? I mean what you do is one thing, but when it changes names in your head - then it's a milestone.

[ 413] By the way - and this may have been discussed back in time when I didn't even know of this comic let alone the forum - are you aware that Rey quite accurately, or let's say at least very correctly, refers to Nietzsche there. Here, in Zarathustra: "Your small reason, what you call “spirit” is also a tool of your body, my brother, a small work- and plaything of your great reason." By "great reason", Nietzsche means "body". On another note, Tom, you troll, we have to wait another week to know about Annie's reaction.

Hey, random question; how do you insert a spoiler in your comments? An internet-life tip: you can open other people's posts by clicking the "quote" banner, and see what they've written to get the effects in those posts.

Welp, my low end guess on the number of pages until we see Annie has been reached, let's see if my high end was high enough for it to be a correct prediction.
