Even adminbot has no idea.
She must have really gone off the grid.

Yes Kat I did. She ran off to the forest because something unexpected happened.

Next page: Annie somewhere in the room where Kat can't see her, shaking her head vigorously and putting her finger to her lips.

I wonder if she was actually expecting to see Annie from the rooftops. Guessing there was a fair amount of off-panel searching as well, and those were kind of her last-ditch efforts before asking around?

Wither you're freaking fast or then my internet connection took immensely long time to load the new page. I posted my thread within like 5 seconds or so from the moment that the new page appeared to me, having refreshed it last time just seconds before, and still you beat me to it.
More serious frustration is that there still is no Kat-Annie meeting and so no clear evidence on Annie's reaction. I like this better than cutting straight to "back in the room, girls are having a chat 'bout Kat's romance" scene, though, and we can see that Annie has really reacted somewhat strongly.

I wonder if Renard can smell Paz on her?

Guessing there was a fair amount of off-panel searching as well, and those were kind of her last-ditch efforts before asking around? Those were spots where Kat and Annie had been in previous strips. The roof with the TV aerial, for example, is where Kat tried to teach her about meditation but instead she started taking apart air conditioners in her mind.

I wonder if Renard can smell Paz on her? Oh yeah, this can get awkward/funny, depending on perspective.

O.o Surely Annie wasn't crushing on Kat!? A: She didn't seemed fazed when she was crushing on Bird Boy. B: Nor would she have been playing the flirt at the party and offering a kiss if she really liked Kat.
So unless it's something truly off the rails it has to be on of the following.
1: She has to be upset about "not being told. Assuming she's upset. 2: The classic. I just lost my best friend to romance depression. 3: Finally, but most unlikely. A EEEWWWWWW response, I seriously doubt it though, given their world. Two girls kissing is pretty tame compared to seeing giant wooden dog men on fire fighting dark spirits. Or GHOSTS, or MINOTAURS, or two Chutulu monsters making out in your sleep.
It may just be something silly as "I went to get you a celebratory cake for you and your new lady love!"

Did she check their room? It seems conspicuously missing from the list of places checked. I mean, I'd have looked their first.

Maybe it's some sort of reminiscing thing? Wither you're freaking fast or then my internet connection took immensely long time to load the new page. I have my laptop's clock synced to the internet (whatever ubuntu defaults to, I dunno), and as far as I can tell it's at most a second off of whatever the comic uses. So there's that. Still took me 25 seconds to try (and fail) to come up with something clever

Just what were you expecting to see from up there Kat?... But yeah, similar to From the Forest She came, with a much sadder tone Annie is just upset she wasn't told and worried she's losing her best/only human friend. They're supposed to be best friends and Kat didn't even tell her she had a crush on someone?

She's become mostly an outdoors person. Odd that Kat didn't go ask Eglamore if Annie's gone to the Forest, though.

Might have Annie have kept her cool this time and asked instead of running off and triggering the alarm? She's definitely on better terms with (most of) the forest now..not sure about how pleased Elgamore would be with whatever explanation Annie would have though.

Oh that is a good point. Annie barley relates to humans and Kat, the one human she thought she understood, just accidentally revealed something very significant about herself that she hadn't mentioned before. I don't see Annie handling this well, but I hope I'm wrong. Maybe she will just pretend the whole thing didn't happen.

She's the forest medium and a citizen of the forest. Does she still trigger the alarm/need permission to go?

I wonder if Renard can smell Paz on her? I'd say so. Also, there have been at least two occasions when Rey has dropped a remark inferring Kat's sexual orientation.

Maybe Annie feels betrayed that she finds out about it like this. Or she has a crush on Kat. Eh

I think she's at the cherry tree Dangit! You guys took my idea! Wherever she is, I'll bet it's greenish and plant-filled. Also, even if Annie's not super-likely to be there, I still would have checked her room and asked Renard first; she might have gone through to grab something and then left. Also, this page is, in an artistic sense, a recap of Annie's time at the Court! The Minotaur incident was right at the beginning, then the recovery of Robot, then the running away down the front stairs bit (fire spike?), then her return to the Court, her talk with Kat, and the underwater dormitories. I love it! And we get to see the new interpretations of those areas as compared to his original artwork!

I'm still holding out for the "Happy Arbor Day" solution, but it looks like Renard won't be the Pintsize stand-in.
Who else might it be? Robot and Shadow? Mort? Basil? Red?!
And on that thought: Sheesh, Annie, do not involve all of them!

Annie is waiting in there with a surprise party to celebrate the occasion.
She rushed off because she knew she only had a little while to get ready and bake the cake.

I see that Kat hasn't bothered to shuck her coveralls, just wrapped its arms around her waist and pulled on a shirt. Anxious, maybe? Seems to me that she's got reason to be. There's going to be a bit of a dust-up when she finally tracks Antimony down.

I thought that the minotaur statue was in the ancient library. Since she has not pulled the paw to open the secret door, she might have only checked if Antimony wasn't in the library, right ?
And about the amount of time that passed between the kiss and Kat going to look for Antimony, the shadows are very low on the previous panel.
Maybe it is because the experiment took place at noon and Kat left the lab in the early evening ? (Considering it's spring or summer, because she's bare arms)

Yes Kat I did. She ran off to the forest because something unexpected happened. right now she is crying in Ysgrin shoulder. He is surprisingly adept at handling issues dealing with homosexuality. Coyote appears, giving Ysgrin a suspiciously warm nuzzle
