Are all of the thought bubbles Kats? Not sure of some are Pazs. Paz's bubbles are a flat white, and all of these have Kat's blueish color to them. She seems to be getting along well with the Seraphs..still wonder who that hairdresser is though. |

WAUUGH Okay enough lurking.  I'm dying here :)I foresee an impending Epic Kat moment!!! Seriously though, after the emotional trauma inflicted upon me by the Goblins web-comic I'm hoping to see some happy fluff or some cute awkward moments. |

Oh I think this will end okay for Kat Embarrassed for sure, but overall a good thing. Paz I feel, is definitely interested in at least trying. Especially with all the letter writing. If she just wanted to be friends she'd have just hit Kat up to hang out when next she saw her. Kat is definitely interested. Judging by her inner monologue she is seriously worried about messing it up. The situation here is Kat being unsure of what Kat is thinking and if she's doing right by her. Overall she's being really thoughtful towards her if you think about it. DAWWWWW Squirms |

I don't think Kat will do something bone headed like Kiss her. However, she did ponder about what all they have done together, so she MAY think it's time to try. I just can't imagine her going for it. That seems more like something Paz would do. I'm more inclined to think she may either poke awkwardly for some clarification, or blurt something knuckle-headed. Mildly related. Paz has been terribly cute and adorable lately, also very happy!! She seems to really enjoy being around Kat, which to me is the most telling. I'm going to sit here and enjoy the ride on board my Fluffy Ship. |

Yeah this is going to be a chapter full of awkwardness, but will probably end with a fairly sweet thing like a kiss or walking out holding hands or something.

Everybody talks to their hairdresser, they get to know stuff. They are routinely handling equipment around people's heads, a good opportunity for brain scans. Are the hairdressers snitches for the Seraphs? Anyway, yay for more awkward. |

So just to add to the awkwardness, I'm sure Kat swept her spaces for bugs and all, but she doesn't really grok the whole etheric concept -- and this was her mom's workshop. How much you want to bet her mom is keeping an eye on her daughter?
I don't mean in a weird/creepy way or anything, but I can't imagine that her mom doesn't know 1.) most of what goes on in her old workshop, and 2.) that her daughter is in a new relationship.
Also, if Anja is aware, it would be interesting to know whether she's keeping any of it from Donny (out of kindness, because us dads, our brains short-circuit when we think about our daughters growing up.) And whether he knows anyways, because he's a sharp guy. Well, sometimes. Definitely my two favorite characters in the story.

I wonder what kind of rack the "node" is set up on..the background doesn't have anything different from previous panels. Or maybe the third robot that walked in is still setting it up somewhere.
