Wait! Did I saw Tom's naughty wink in the last two panels combined? No way! He couldn't have. Must've been some flicker of the light.

Maybe Paz has more of a scientific interest than Kat thinks or realizes?

Maybe Paz has more of a scientific interest than Kat thinks or realizes? She does live with a robot and work in a lab, so that would make sense.

I can kind of relate to Kat here. I have six computers (five on them retro) in my small apartment. :/ I'm kind of ashamed when inviting someone home, but I just love playing around with them!

That girl has quite a rack.
I think we can see 36 servers, and it looks like there's at least one more column.

Seeing how nervous Kat is, I'm kind of surprised she left the door open.
Also, seeing the server rack, I wonder what they're connected to.. The court wouldn't trust a student to run the network, would it?

It's been my head-canon, that all of Kat's internal monologue (usually pigeonized) is voiced by Vin Diesel. Ever since the City Face comic where it was mentioned that was CF's voice actor.

The court wouldn't trust a student to run the network, would it? Considering she made an anti-gravity device before, she can probably run a few servers of her own.

I love the growing relationship between Pat & Kaz, but I have this horrible feeling in the back of my mind that there's a possibility the court could be using Paz to keep tabs on Kat and maybe Annie. I hope not. I just... gah. It would be horrible if she was.
(if someone has already mentioned this as an awful possibility, ignore me)

It doesn't look to me like she's nervous about Paz seeing her computers. She's nervous because in panel 5 you can see her undoing the button on her sleeve which means she took her shirt off and isn't wearing one under the coveralls. Hence the turning her back to Paz and running the zipper up fast.

Katerina moves ever closer to becoming Willie Wonka.
Except server racks instead of chocolate rivers. And robots for oompah-loompas.

Katerina moves ever closer to becoming Willie Wonka. Except server racks instead of chocolate rivers. And robots for oompah-loompas. She has a whole song and dance programmed into them, for when they visit the break area. It's simple and uninspired. Though, it's still far better than the routine, that Boxbot is doing in the closet called "J4zzH4nds!". That's just terrible.

Reminds me somewhat of this episode of Hey Ash Whatcha Playin'? (It's short. Also not necessarily vulgar but not necessarily for kids either) Somewhat recently I started dating someone who, though not necessarily a tech-head kind of person, is incredibly curious and inquisitive and asks a lot of questions and is patient with explanations. Paz could easily be similar, so her not being interested in the exact sort of things Kat is doesn't guarantee her being bored by any of it. In short: calm down Kat, she's probably cool.

You know, speaking from experience, even if a person is not super-interested in your type of job, they can still enjoy seeing what you do, especially if they care about you the way Paz apparently does. The fact that Kat is interested in it will make her more interested. If she wasn't already, that is; who WOULDN'T want to see how a super-genius builds robots!?

Also, seeing the server rack, I wonder what they're connected to.. The court wouldn't trust a student to run the network, would it? I don't think that they're network servers. I think that they are a cluster farm that Kat uses to handle her robot calculations. That kind of work takes a lot of machine power. Anyway, I'm guessing that the Court has a lot of different networks that aren't connected to one another. Wouldn't want students messing around the Ether Station's mainframe by "accident". I love the growing relationship between Pat & Kaz, but I have this horrible feeling in the back of my mind that there's a possibility the court could be using Paz to keep tabs on Kat and maybe Annie. I hope not. I just... gah. It would be horrible if she was. That would be like shooting flies with a bazooka. It doesn't take that much effort to keep tabs on a couple of schoolgirls, especially in the Court where even the food they serve contain tracking devices. Also, the whole romance angle would be a major liability to that kind of surveillance project. What if they break up, like teenagers do all the time? If the Court was really eager to get an insider's look at Kat's activities, don't you think they'd have used a subtler method that isn't liable to blow on their faces?

Paz seems too eager to be in a relationship. Well at least they'll be better off from the experience.

I'm still not sure of what "test" Kat's talking about. Also, the peeking face at the end. xD It's almost like a creeper face.

I'm still not sure of what "test" Kat's talking about. I suspect it has to do with Robot's new body, like most of Kat's tests for a while now. Incidentally, anyone notice the Creator symbol in the third panel?
