Dammit you beat me by less than three seconds.
Good job.
So, Kat and Paz? Does this look ominous to anyone else?

Hehe, figured I'd give it a shot I can think of two things faces this close together mean - some form of argument or something that'll make shippers go nuts. Not sure which is more ominous..

I have no problem with making shippers go nuts. However, an argument seems a bit more likely, I think (judging from the color use), which would be very sad. But who knows: we've CERTAINLY been fooled before. Chapter title discussion: I got nothin'. Far more cryptic than 'Crash Course', but less so than 'Quicksilver', maybe?

Judging by the colours and style of the pic I'd guess there's an argument of some sort in the works. the old physics vs biology you reckon?

Judging by the colours and style of the pic I'd guess there's an argument of some sort in the works. the old physics vs biology you reckon? Or the battle of noses. Potato vs. Ski-jump hill. It's good the characters have some profound distinguishing features by the way - some comic I know just changes hair colour and stay at that.

Potato vs. Ski-jump hill. ...And Paz's nose is now the Yosemite half-dome. Add another "can't unsee" to the list. Didn't catch the thumbnail before. Maybe the candlewick might have some symbolism? Fire (Annie?) slowly burning the thread away?Scratch that, that's the 1-o'clock-in-the-morning speaking. It looks kind of like a candle though

A.S. Hornby's Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary of Current English, a not-so current book, reveals that the »spiral ridge round a screw or bolt« is also called a thread, and mentions the expressions »to hang by a thread«, »to thread one's way through« and »to gather up the threads of a story«.

The first page will be a repeat of the title page but with the text "/Thread" and the antimony symbol. Then it's the bonus page.

So it's gonna be a chapter about the forum?
... actually, I had to google what thread means again, it's such an annoying word, not just because it has multiple meaning in itself, but I also keep mixing it with threat and treat. :s

Could refer to the Red Thread of Fate. Threads also hold up martinets. A concept involved in more than one romance.
I wonder if we'll discover, if Paz isn't exactly who she seems? Looking forward to it.

I was gonna say Kat needs to get a haircut because she's kinda ruining the shape of the vase here.

I'd laugh if nothing at all happens and the forum explodes because of it, hur hur. Still this is interesting, I really hope Annie finds out, I just want to see her reaction.

Could refer to the Red Thread of Fate. This is what I was thinking when I saw the title itself. In Asian lore, spirits/ghosts can see red threads that tie souls that are in love together. (ie. In a hilarious story, a man's friend dies and comes back as a ghost, but only he can see her. She starts noticing red threads tying couples' ankles together, and tells him that that's how you get someone to fall in love with you. As a lonely single man, he persuades her to help tie his thread with a random pretty girl he sees on the street. His ghostly friend informs him that the thread on his ankle is FAR too short, and that he'll have to stand closer to her, and actually make an effort to communicate with her before she can tie them together. The story implies that the length of your thread is longer the more desirable you are, or easily connectable you are to another) The Chapters Index icon shows a bunsen burner, which is pretty typical of Kat, methinks. Other interpretations: Perhaps they don't have so much in common after all? Only thin threads holding them together? Perhaps they discover some sort of deep secret behind the marionettes in Kat's lab basement, and what "threads" hold/control them, via etheric science? Gasp! No bonus page? Hmmmmmm... awfully suspicious.

Well, that was a fun chapter. More fun to read all at once, though; I can't almost never think of anything to comment out of action scenes alone, no matter how awesome.
And now we're changing gears completely. Now it's time for some quiet character drama. I hope that Annie will be in this chapter, too, though. She and Kat so rarely spend significant screen time together, any more. I'm almost willing to start shipping those two just so that they could go on adventures together like in the old days of the comic.
The last page was the bonus page. A hilarious one at that.

I was going to check on the site but someone was in the same room as me. I thought "It's only the title page it's not like there will be two people kissing" so I got worried for a second when the page came up.
From the chapter icon I would guess that Kat shows a cool experiment to Paz and we'll see something they share in common.
