So after a Renard backstory chapter we get an Ysengrin backstory chapter? Great!
Also they said "proud general", not "poor general". : )
Oh, ninja'ed.

Ysengrin's army seems quite fearsome, I have to admit. Not surprised that people were eager to leave that place under attack. But what I wonder is that did he just leave his army the ruins of the target of his attack. Like, "oh well, good job boys, just stay here, I come to call for you if I ever need to wage a war again." Nice leadership, Ys!

Is that last guy made of fire?? Kind of looks like it, or maybe some wierd material.
Also, water molecule symbol on the lizardmans nose. Actually, I don't know what symbol it is, but its a new one.
I wonder if these guys know of Surma?

Oh... oh my. Ysengrin just became a lot more badass. And I can smell even more badassery coming in the sense of maybe not-so-friendly sparring matches. Is that last guy made of fire?? Kind of looks like it, or maybe some wierd material. I think the guy is a skeleton with some flesh and muscles on it, radiating some kind of aura? You know, just typical NIGHTMARE like any of the other ones. Fire is not nightmare-y enough.

Only a General? He must be going soft.
Instant Headcanon: - Ysengrin leads the Forest's defence should it come under attack. Or perhaps these divisions are for assaulting the Court itself, should circumstances require it? Naturally, this involves beasts of nature of a less than savoury nature. - Coyote has purposefully not revealed this aspect of the Forest to Annie, for the sake of courting her allegiance.

My first thought on this: "creatures who underestimated Antimony" count is about to double.

I think we are all ignoring how cool looking those tall guys with the orange eyes are.
Also I bet it's the beetle and the centipede that enjoy lemon tea.

Then again, who could dislike lemon tea? Coffee extremists. They often cause sectarian anxiety in the ranks, but most conflicts are solved over a glass of orphan's tears.

Those damn coffee extremists. They're so caffeinated that they're almost impossible to hit.

Coffee and lemon tea are equally good.
It's tea with milk that's a horrible monstrosity.

I like coffee, green tea (especially mint-flavoured) and jasmine tea; but good, correctly roasted, well made coffee is challengingly hard to come by, so given the choice and no further information, I usually go for tea.
