... amazon recently send me a notice to inform me that my order would be delayed to in between "03. September 2013 - 30. November 2013". okay
Alas, that mail was about a book called "Gunnerkrigg Court" that ,according to the e-mail, was written by "Taylor, Rebecca".
I might want to go to a local book store instead.

Man, we kind of hoped that the "I do not Exist" page would be placed on the back of the sheet, so the reader would turn the page and Bam, but Tom said he wasn't overly concerned about that. Oh well, it looks great.

I guess they initially got incomplete / incorrect data about the book from the publisher and still haven't managed to properly fix it. Ms. Taylor apparently works as an editor for Archaia and for some reason got listed as author. On the website it's at least "by Tom Siddell" now, but the notification mails are still wrong. Oh, and for me it's "19. August 2013 - 04. October 2013". We'll see...

I got it from the local comic book store (via Diamond) where I help sort new comics on Tuesday. The official release date should be today, Wednesday, July 17. Hopefully Amazon will get their's out soon.

Senior Goose, I'm not sure why I think this but every time I see your name I think 'Señor Goose' That makes sense, I'm pretty much constantly followed by Mariachi bands. Sounds like a great addition to the list of mediocre superpowers along with "nails grow on command" and "can summon binoculars anywhere".

"can summon binoculars anywhere" BIRDWATCHER MAN It was something my friend told me about from a dream a long time ago. He told me he was fighting some evil force on his front lawn, and one of his allies was an old man with the power to summon binoculars. I guess you could use them as a blunt weapon in a pinch.

Gave up on amazon directly. Ordered from some US shop, that shipped the day after I ordered. Should get it in about a week or three.

Yay! my volume 4 just arrived from Amazon UK. now got all 4 because Vol 2 was available as well for a short period a couple of months back.
It's a pity there are no local comic shops and Waterstones seemed uninterested in taking my preorder, or I would have ordered through them.

Ambushed the postman like a little kid today, then did a little dance when he had my copy of Materia in his bag. The neighbors already think I'm batshit insane, so no worries

Did anyone else find several printing errors in their copy? My copy was missing several of the City Face pages, and had no speech bubbles on the page corresponding to Ysengrin's first flip-out scene, which made his breakdown quite non-sensical

Usually the retailers are responsible for resolving these issues. What pages exactly were different/missing?

Pages 1079 (no dialog), 1173 (missing), 1174 (missing) , 1175 (missing), and probably more that I have never noticed (the book is my sister's; I read the comic online, so I haven't looked through the book much). I will get in touch with Amazon, as I purchased it from them

Amazon might be able to help you mediate, but the people who would be replacing/accepting a return would be the seller that is using Amazon's service. edit: Wow, now that you mention it, mine has the same problem. I do have 1174 and 1175, but 1173 is missing, and the speech bubbles on 1079 are gone. I wonder what other mistakes managed to sneak past Archaia. It looks like a screw-up in the design stage rather than manufacturing, so we can't blame the Chinese company they hired to print them. Mildly disappointing.
