So, did you just randomly choose a number or what?

So, did you just randomly choose a number or what? I selected the wrong open webcomic window and used that page number by mistake... Ah well, the problems with checking all my webcomic pages in multiple tabs!

It would seem someone figured out what Hetty is over on The Butt Zone en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitty,_Her_First_Hundred_Years I also believe I called it, Hetty being similar to Renard and under the control of someone

Sorry, I got distracted by the crossword at the back of Harpers.
Not much to say, really. The previous thread guessed much of today's update already.

I thought it was slightly interesting to see Renard let an unkind ref to Antimony pass without comment.

Apparently the evils Adam has done to Hetty include eating Cheetos directly above her, and shedding lots of crumbs.

I thought it was slightly interesting to see Renard let an unkind ref to Antimony pass without comment. Thought bubble: "She' ll learn. Heh." Either that, or Renard didn't want to concentrate on the memories of Fire Spike more than he have to. Threaten to put your little sister's doll into your toy Moon rocket, and you're in for a lifetime in glass wool. Someone already said that last week, here in the forums Yup.

I'm really hoping Adam is a dog. Or maybe he was only a "terror" to Hetty when he was a little kid years ago.

Depending on what sorts of things Adam has forced Hetty to do, her adding glass fiber to his bed becomes much more understandable. Given the same level of control that Annie has shown, there's no telling what Adam has commanded her to do.
I'm starting to get hints of an entire hidden culture of possessed toys in the court, not just these two. "We are not all as fortunate as you, Reynardine." This suggests that there are more of them than just Hetty and Rey, otherwise it would have been "I am not as fortunate" instead.

My feeling is that the similarity between the names "Hitty" and "Hetty" and them both being dolls is just a coincidence, but there isn't enough evidence yet to be sure.

My theory at the moment is that Adam is just a toddler and has treated her like toddlers tend to do with toys. Anyway, Hetty seems to enjoy her mischief rather too much for it to be a very serious retribution; she seems amused, not driven.

Her face in panel two seems to have as much seriousness in it as a doll could create

She talked "late XIX century Proper Lady" dialect from her first page, no?

I rather like the dog idea, but I don't know, if glass fiber would cause too much itching. If it is a child, she could be justified. They could be just as evil and sick as any adult, if not more.

Renard is still intent on doing whatever he had origionally planned on doing, we'll see on Friday.

I can't be the only one who noticed that the chapter title, Quicksilver (which is mercury) is being used for a chapter involving a vindictive doll who often torments her master and is in need of supplies?
Poisoning (attempted or successful) seems likely, although I may be overestimating how dark the comic is willing to go.

This may turn into a murder plot
