Those scratch marks on the door look old, is is Surma's old place?

Those scratch marks on the door look old, is is Surma's old place? Was he allowed to wander around the court as he pleased as a fox? I don't think so. Unless you're saying he just visits now as habit/homage. I just don't think he'd know where she used to live.

I don't think he was ever even a Fox in the court before. He stole the body of the man to enter but was captured, leaving his fox body behind in the forest. I just don't think he'd know where she used to live. It's possible he could have gotten the address from Lindsay or someone else.

Two scrapes above, a pause, then one scratch below - in the same locations as many times before.
I wonder if it's a message, a habit, or one of those silly things done in the memory of someone important.

Right, exactly what I was saying; the scratch marks couldn't be too old since he hasn't been in the court as anything that could scratch (other than the plushie). And we don't know when Annie started letting him go off on his own like this. I suppose so!

I meant old as in he's obviously been here a few times before in his new wolf body, not back when he was a fox or possessing a guy. And we don't know how long he posessed that guy for, he could have been in the court for a while and got to know his way around, or Surma could have hidden him before he was captured.

Two scrapes above, a pause, then one scratch below - in the same locations as many times before. I wonder if it's a message, a habit, or one of those silly things done in the memory of someone important.. I now has a sad.

My guess is that it's where the man he possessed used to live.
(Sorry, Rey! He won't be coming back! But surely Rey knows this?)
... Possibly a small homage on his way to other business.

Does indeed look like something he has a habit of doing. He keeps hoping that someone is going to open the door, but no one ever does. :/ Let's hope he'll be pleasantly surprised on friday!

... Possibly a small homage on his way to other business. He seems to be walking back the same way he came from, though. Edit: My, what a clumsy double post. Sorry. ^^;

Gold star to the person who predicted Tom's alt text would be "Renard Renard Renard" in the last thread.

Or, heartbreakingly, he actually has been here as a fox.
If so, then the scratches higher up are more recent... whereas the ones closer to the ground were from years prior.

In this case it would take a lot to surprise him pleasantly. Gold star to the person who predicted Tom's alt text would be "Renard Renard Renard" in the last thread. There's no alt text. Other than on the buttons.

Why didn't he use his lockpicks? Perhaps, it was more about it being answered, than getting inside. Or it's his Kibbles-N-Bits dealer, and that's a signal to meet him in the alley.

Perhaps he didn't really want to break in. There might be nothing there if the Court cleaned out her residence after she died. The Court is so large, they probably never used that apartment again. I can't delete posts. Anyone else have this problem? On the top right hand side of your post, there will be a little grey gear icon next to a drop-down arrow. Click it, and "delete post" will be one of the items.
