Renard is moody today. MMhh. He seems to have a plan, but judging from the second panel he's not thrilled to do it. Whatever it is. Maybe, Cleo was right and it's quiet reflection time for him? but I wonder if Reynard might just be off to visit the grave of the man he killed (or something along those lines). Or he's going to some roof to stare at the forest. That'd be sad. Annie proposed to let him go. But then, Renard got into this mess in the first place because he wanted to be around humans. |

I'm actually pretty disappointed that Tom didn't supply any sound effects for the change. I guess it's a pretty quiet process, but I do so love the words he uses to describe sounds. That said, it still is pretty cool to see the change from one form to the other happening. Definitely a step up from "I'll leave the morphing sequence for the movie adaptation."

Other things I suspect is he may have had something to do with breaking up Surma/Eggers (I think anyway, I have a more elaborate WMG for for it), so apologies for that. I'm sure he regrets a lot |

I can totally see Renard and Lindsey hanging out when all the girls go off to class. Just chilling by the pool, talking about Annie, stuff like that. Maybe Bud comes over and they all gossip about the kids. What else are they going to do?

I had the thought that perhaps he was off to get his plush body repaired (thus the needles; which would be painful and unpleasant- see what he thought of being chucked in the washing machine).
I then proceeded to think about how Tom said that he could possess anything with eyes, even metaphorical eyes. Not that he can jump bodies, but needles have eyes.
I don't know why but I get the distinct feeling that he's not sneaking off to do anything "nice" like apologising to Eggers. Also, given that Eggers almost certainly tortured him, I would think that Rey probably considers whatever debt he had to E to be paid back many times over. Losing someone you loved (which arguably so did Rey) vs being physically tortured...
So I guess, doing something unpleasant that he has been dreading but for whatever reason is either obliged to do, or? The need to be back late, to me, reminds me of being off to a meeting of some kind.

I've been wondering, if he leaves an inanimate body, can he reenter it later? If he were allowed to leave his current body (made by Surma), will he be unable to return? There are a lot of unanswered question, in regards to Coyote's borrowed power. If plushy doll's eyes count, would a robot's? |
