Which do you see yourself more as a part of, the Court or the Forest?
I for one am definitely with the Court.

I don't know what Coyote's motives are, I don't know what the Court's motives are, so I can't make a decision

Both? Either? I'd probably flip a coin. They both look like good fun to me.

The Court.
Human beings come first.

Forest, for triple sure. When I am outside exploring I don't want to come back. Not that I stand with Coyote's faction politically, but if I was in this 'verse you'd find me in the forest.

I'd choose the Forest. That place is literally made from stories, legends and myths. I have a hard time imagining anything better.
The Court is pretty damn awesome too with all its cool science and stuff, there's just no way it can compete with the Forest.

Well the Court's Headmaster was kind of a dick and Coyote can be a dick sometimes so... Neutral

The Court, of course! Is it not the prerogative of mortality to strive for that which is beyond our reach? The Court's mission to assume the powers of godhood is the ultimate purpose and inevitable goal of any collective of thinking creatures.
Also, I love the Gormenghast feel of an enormous, mostly abandoned expanse of disorderly research facilities and industrial complexes.

It often comes to mind what man could do or would do for power. BUT I could go for some power right about now. It sounds so good

It sounds so good Progress has a dark side, but it doesn't inherently make people immoral, people do that themselves. People have been immoral since before the words existed to express morality.

True, we have the capacity to do evil but also the capacity to do good. Though maybe we're just innately neutral but turns to be either good or evil because we are affected by the factors in our world such as our environment, the people who influence us, etc and most importantly by our own experiences.

I'm an academic through and thorugh. I doubt the forest would want me, even if I wanted to.
Besides, humanity, order, science... these things beat coyotes myths any day. What do we need magic when we can make the same things without resorting to "etheria"?
