Delayed epiphany like woah, but just had a Fridge Brilliance moment re: Why Zimmy kept calling Kat "big nose". She doesn't actually perceive Kat as having a nose at all; the nickname's to calm herself down by trying to imagine Kat as a regular-looking human with a comically large nose.

Why do I feel that Zimmy in the Headband of +5 Straightness would be the cutest/most horrifying thing in the world? Also, for some reason, the seventh panel is my favorite. I can't wait to see what lack of explanation we get for all of the strangeness Monday! =D I think Gamma is probably the one who intends to wear it.

It is pure nonsense.

Someone in the comments asked if they were taking the headband as payment. Couldn't help but think, "For a Fistful of Headbands" and "For a Few Headbands More."

You're forgetting the best part of the trilogy: The Good, the Bad, and the Divine.

Transformers 3: The Dark of the Fingerprint. That was lame enough to hurt my teeth.

You're forgetting the best part of the trilogy: The Good, the Bad, and the Divine. Couldn't decide if Bignose Donlan should play "Ugly" or not.

One thing I'm surprised that no-one has commented on: Gamma's lips in second panel aren't dark. Has that happened before?
Having tended to the Kat's dream theory in the past, I'm thrown by some of the quotes from 'Jack' that weren't necessarily familiar to Kat. (I suppose Annie *could* have filled in her main babe on the juicy details, off-panel) It still doesn't explain why we've got 'bone lasers' impaling fire elementals and Kat as techno-trouser's nightmare... much as it's tempting to dismiss it as the randomness of dream (Wednesday... totally spurious? Right!).
Fade out is either Z&G departing, or returning to a higher level of perception (when Z first took Annie's hand). Will the top still be spinning on monday?

Well, I don't know that it was ENTIRELY in Kat's head, but I think significantly it was. Even the relationship with Annies dad could simply be because of Kat's thoughts/feelings about him. The bone laser is not dissimilar from some elements of this page: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=1051The bottom cables going up to her eyes.

The "all in Kat's head" theory strikes me as a bit solipsist. Zimmy seemed a little bit too lively to be a dream-copy or something. Some of the picture's we saw in Annie's mind were things that Kat would have a hard time knowing about. Bingo.

I got the impression that the people who are assuming this are also assuming that Zimmy and Gamma did visit Kat's dreams in person. However, I'm not signing to the theory yet, either way. You're forgetting the best part of the trilogy: The Good, the Bad, and the Divine. How about "The Divine, the Bad and the Ugly?" That makes Carver "bad" and Donlan "ugly." They search for and fight over sacks of pink plastic headbands hidden somewhere in the Court before the Restoration.

You know, it's possible that Zimmy could still explore Annie's dreamscape while actually visiting through Kat's head.
She's got crazy powers of craziness. It could happen.

Dunno, she got her moments, but is she all that bad? It is a dilemma, isn't it? But if you make Donlan "Angel Eyes" the bad that would make Carver "ugly" which would be worse. Link in case people don't know what we're talking about.

Oh, excellent! Headband of +50 charisma, effective on robots only. Hey, Annie should try that on kat. Or jones.(well, at least then we'd be sure...)

Ya know, half of the original joke about the "Headband of +5 Straightness" was how overpowered anything was at +5 according to the then-current rules.
