Telescope!
I can't believe how fast you are with making a new thread.

I suppose we should be thankful he isn't a perv.
Space action? Are we looking at a GKC/QC crossover? :-)

Some people yearn to go into the school of Hogwarts, or to live with the Na'vi in Avatar. I want what Donald has.

I think it's interesting that Annie's so concerned about the launch being a success, I wonder if she has smuggled in a note or something similar. I'm itching for a page, hell just a panel, of Antony and where he is now.

Space action? Are we looking at a GKC/QC crossover? :-) Hah, that would be great. Although the implications would give the Wild Speculations thread a heart attack...

I like how much emotion Annie has been showing recently. It must be Don, he was friends with Anthony so he probably knows all the secrets for drawing Carvers out of their shells.

I'm itching for a page, hell just a panel, of Antony and where he is now. Even if she didn't smuggle in a note, this is the most contact/interaction she'll have had with her father in years. It makes sense for that reason that she'd really want this to work out.

Being with Annie must make Donny feel as if Anthony came back(well just a little).
I wonder what else Donny can make appear? I have a feeling he could probably furnish a house.

The stuff probably has to be coded into the 'etherically enhanced computer'. There may also be an upper limit as to how much matter can be transferred at a time. But yeah, furnishing a house seems like a plausible possible use of this

Oh wow that perspective, staring at that. Greatness.
Also at casual glance the bottom part of this comic makes me think of eyes and for some strange reason staring long enough makes me think of Jake from Adventure Time.

I think he's just unveiling things that were placed there before. He had a rocket, and a telescope near it for this very purpose.

wanted to mention that I'm impressed with the use of limited perspective on this page about the launch. It would feel like a more natural 'cinematic' approach to cut to the interactions going on in space with the satellite right now, showing off the epicness of the moment, a rocket launching into space, show off some fancy arts.
However, by keeping the perspective of the comic as that of Annie who is waiting on the ground and who can only see two dots moving closer together, from reading this page I can really feel the desperation for more knowledge about her father's whereabouts and motivations. This is a lot more true to real life, and the uncertainties of real life.
(yes, and i would really like to know too : I ...so many mysteries rar rar rar...come ooooon...)

ok ok, I realize the irony also of talking about realism in a comic with space warping hobby rockets.
But that's what makes the comic as strong as it is. Unusual and interesting circumstances, but with characters that still share many of our own limitations and emotions.

Man, being able to summon things out of thin air or making doors out of the wall without damaging anything would be the COOLEST.
I love characters with super practical powers. Smitty, Parley, and Donald all have really neat powers. And the blinker stone / etheric powers stuff is sweeeeet. Sooo many practical uses. I'm super jealous.

Space action? Are we looking at a GKC/QC crossover? :-) Hannelore held her new blinker stone tight in her hand. "What do I do now?" "Close your eyes, concentrate and try to picture it." Said Annie. She was enjoying spending this extra time with her supply maths teacher. Hannelore was different, Annie liked that. "Can you see your fingers?" "No." "Can you see anything?" "Butts." "Butts?" "I see butts." No idea why I wrote this. I think it's the butts disease.

Why did the crossover writer cross the road? To change a light bulb in a bar.

I like how Donny being able to summon things reminds me of how the ex-fairies were able to summon things in the etheric plane.

Why did the crossover writer cross the road? To change a light bulb in a bar. It is pretty terrible that I didn't get this until the early hours of the morning? I feel more terrible than boxbot.

Okay, here's another one. A crossover writer, a string theorist and a rabbi walk into a bar. The barmen asks them: hey, guys, anyone knows why those chickens are trying to change my lightbulb? A lawyer in the corner screams "don't answer this question!", but then a pink elephant sits on him.
