I almost didn't believe it, but look what came in the mail! Volume 2: Research is AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE FROM ARCHAIA! *insert girly squeals here* I didn't see any other post with this info, so I wanted to share! Here's the link: store.archaia.com/products/Gunnerkrigg-Court-Vol.-2%3A-Research.htmlI wonder if this means the guys trying to sell their copies on ebay for $200 are going to keep them up or not?

And 15 bucks for shipping to Germany... Damnit
Here's to obsessively checking every other hour if amazon.de is listing it as available again..
Good news nevertheless

Toloc, your local book store might be able to help you out! I don't really know how it works, but they probably have some way to get their hands on the book.

Thanks for the advise, I might try that again.
I tried ordering it quite exactly a year ago, cancelled the order six month later..

Six Months? Dang, don't think any mail service can think of a excuse for anything that long, Alaska and northern Canada require air drops because of the roads and it doesn't take that long.

Well, Volume 2 is (and already was) out of print
I ordered vol 1 at my local book store anyway and thought "well, vol 2 might turn up somewhere or get reprinted", so it's no one's fault really
With Arcadia having a few books in stock, there at least seems to be some hope to get the book in the near future for below 100$...

Amazon says "Usually ships within 1 to 3 months."
I'm not falling for that one again - last time it said that I ordered it and nothing happened for several months until they cancelled and refunded the order.
Can anyone confirm that the Amazon one actually works?

Meh, since Tom decided to quit his job, he probibly plans to use the books a bit more to make money to eat, so maybe just wait a bit and he will start pumping out copy's.

He doesn't publish his own books, and he also makes very little from his books. As far as I can see, he's been on his publisher's ass for like half a year now to republish book two. Seems like they've finally gotten around to it.

When Amazon posts a one to three-month availability, it's code for "we can't actually get this, but there might be a miracle, so we're leaving the purchase link up anyway." If the publisher actually does another print run (and really, what is so hard about this?) then those orders will be fulfilled. Until then...it's sort of a gamble.
And Archaia's copies are all gone, too. I'm really kicking myself for not buying v.2 earlier.

A friend of mine asked Archaia/Titan on twitter:
"Do you happen to have any idea when @gunnerkrigg vol. 2 will be available again? I know I'm not the only one after it!"
Archaia replied with:
"Not long now. Copies of @gunnerkrigg vol. 2 are printed and are on their way from overseas."
I guess this bodes well? A bit out of the blue but if it's true I'm sure no one is complaining!
