All I know is that Ann did not light Jack on fire on this page.

Annie, you need to hug Kat more often!

I think that a new ship has been sailed out of port. KatXJack.
Not that I'm a shipper, but cmon that is kind of hinted.

I agree with legion - regardless of what Kat is actually thinking, Paz certainly seemed to make her doubt some of her feelings, platonic or otherwise. The glance towards Paz had to be intentional. It kind of gives me a "pfft, what she she know?" vibe. i'll agree with this

You do know that eyes can turn in your skull, right? She turned her eyes to look at a blank wall, and an entire panel was given to that view alone?

In the last panel, I thought that Kat was pretending to be asleep, perhaps to avoid Annie when she comes back from saying good-bye to Jack. I thought the glance at Paz meant, "Oh, she's asleep, no one else saw that, I should just pretend to be asleep too." At last, a sane interpretation, and only in the last post on the page. Kat spied on Annie in an intimate moment. It's a bit awkward. What should she do? "Everyone's asleep, I'll pretend as well."

The possibility appeared back in Power Station. And such a development just makes sense. Of course, it's way too obvious to be probable in Gunnerkrigg, but that's what makes wild speculations interesting.

She was the one that pushed them together at the start of the night, but now they have an intimate moment and she's not happy? There's more to it than just her feeling awkward seeing their moment.

And some lesbians weren't lesbians all along, sexuality is fluid (for some people at least). I don't think that sexuality is really all that fluid. It probably can change, but slowly over time and pretty much just in one direction. However, I also don't think it's binary (straight or homosexual) or even tri-state (adding bisexual). I think it's a continuous scale, and most people occupy a range on that scale rather than a point. Which means that the expression of sexuality can change rapidly within the person's actual range.

There has been much research done, showing that the sexuality of females is much more fluid than that of males.
Not saying anything about the comic, just pointing that out.

I think what makes this page so shipper-tastic is the combination of Kat looking at Annie and Jack, then at Paz, and feeling uncomfortable. The way I see it is that Kat is starting to wonder about her feelings towards other girls- and Annie. That would also explain how awkward she is around Annie at the fencing match.
