I noticed a few of you peeked at it but noticed nothing playing. It plays music from online users, anyone can add songs (it only has to be one song, but there seems to be quite a high upper limit).
Listening Room is a website for listening to music with your friends. You create a room, invite some friends, and then listen to music together. Anyone in a room can upload songs from their computer, and everyone hears the same thing at the same time.
Anyone can listen but need sign up in order to add to playlist, which can be done rather easily as they ask for bare minimum information

Oh, that's what that's for.
What we ought to do is upload music connected to GC. Hourglass by Kate Rusby, Anne Briggs' self-titled album, In Sides by Orbital, Music for the Jilted Generation by the Prodigy.
Scratch that, it looks like they got rules against playing entire albums all at once. To keep the site from getting shut down by copyright lawsuits. Well, we can still play the most relevant songs, at least.

Per and I were able to chat and share tunes a few times there, but we found the music playing interface rather frustrating. Then someone else informed me of the existence of MuMu Player, another chatroom / communal music player. It's not as pretty as Listening Room, but the interface is far more practical. So I'm gonna be here if anyone is interested.
