I've been debating getting the limited edition leather bound copy of Vol 1, but was hoping to hear reviews/comments on it first. I already have the original Lulu book, and Vol 1 & 2 from ASP, but this would be neat to have too, assuming it's actually well made. I also find it curious Tom hasn't advertised it; is there a reason for that? I know he apparently gets practically nothing from the regular books, so if this is just ASP putting out a more expensive copy and keeping all the profits again, I'd rather avoid it. So, anyone have it, or have anything to say about it?

Interesting find! I also would like to know the answers to these questions. It would be great if Tom could answer them, but it may be something of a delicate balance if there are negative publishing issues involved. But if those concerns aren't the case, then I would be very interested in buying this! Tom's art deserves to be gilt-edged, bound in leather and sitting in a place of honour on my bookshelf. ;D

Tom deleted his formspring account. The answers can still be found using Adam's searcher.

Dreams must be heeded and accepted. For a great many of them come true.

I did not know these even existed.
In fact, just the idea of it, at a cursory glance, seemed much to full of awesome to truly exist. However, I seem to have been proven wrong.
There are not sufficient adjectives to describe how much I want to own one of these. In fact, if I could get a leather bound version of EVERY GKC book to grace this world with its fine literature and beautiful art style, I think I would.

I bought a copy. When I get it, I'll tell you how it looks. If Tom doesn't get any money from this, I will send him a personal check in the amount I paid.
For cereals.

Tom had a copy of this on his table at Thought Bubble - I didn't pick it up and look through it (I had no intention of buying it so I thought that'd be pretty rude), but from what I saw it looked very lovely and well made. And definitely super classy!
