Oh, another musician. I'd love to learn how to play the erhu. Love those ethnic instruments. They're usually awesome outside their respective cultures, like when my teacher plays accordion on our jazz combo.
To tell the truth, I'm somewhat of a music nerd, as I play bass, harmonica, piano, flute, guitar, bongos and got a somewhat vast knowledge on synthesis and production.

you should learn it, a starter erhu or gaohu goes pretty cheap, and Jiebing Chen's website has free tutorials for playing and repairing.

Oh, I'd buy one, if I could find. It's quite hard to come by a decent music store, around here, let alone one that carries ethnic instruments.

sorry to disappoint, popo, but we are neither albino, and we definitely do not have dreadlocks. I am kind of curious as to what brought that up though.

I assume popo is talking about these fellas from The Matrix Reloaded. At least, that's who I immediately thought of after his comment.

Real Name: Amy Nicknames: Chromey, Chromeh, variations on Chrome. Age: 29 years young Height: about 5"8' Weight: Around 180 pounds Gender: Female. Favorite Games (board games, card games or videogames): Tetris, Portal, Checkers, the OLD Super Mario Bros 1-3 for the NES, and ping-pong. Favorite Court character(s): Jones. Antimony. And Parley comes in third. Favorite sport(s): Walking, Walkaerobics videos (Leslie Sansone's series), and jogging up and down stairs becuase I can't seem to go up them slowly. Favorite book(s): The Honor Harrington military sci-fi series by David Weber, The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, The Golden Compass (haven't read the other two yet) by Philip Pullman, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, Dune by Frank Herbert, the Rama series by Arthur Clarke, and Neuromancer by William Gibson. Finally, tell us a little about yourself: As you can guess from my avatar, I am a digital artist. I use a Wacom tablet and Photoshop. I am also aspiring towards making my own sci-fi webcomic someday. I find Tom Siddell's artwork on GKC very inspiring, and it makes me want to keep on working towards my goal. I'm also a sucker for the color purple (as the girl's eyes are purple in the avatar), I make fractals, and I'm generally a touch lazy. I'm a reformed night owl, in that I generally crash by 2 am. I also love all chocolate of the dark variety a little too much. I also talk, er, type, too much. 100 wpm typing speeds don't help either. >_> And yeah, that's me. HI! *waves enthusiastically*

I must ask: do you like Gackt? Yes, I love Jrock. Especially the Gazette. Gackt isn't bad (my younger sister loves him). You really should play FFX. Its one of the easier games to get through, and the controls are probably the easiest I've had to use too. Plus it has a pretty good storyline as well. ^_^

Maybe later.
