That looked like Antimony's scar. Which is what the "not mine!" is referring to, I'm guessing.

Very nice how she can just tear off a cut that doesn't belong to her.
And am I the only one that saw Shadow the Hedgehog there in the end?

Well, gee. Annie doesn't want it. Zimmy doesn't want it. Poor lonely cut. :c

That looked like Antimony's scar. Also her hair is turning red, and we've seen her become Antimony before...

O~kaay, this is one of the most intriguing pages in recent memory. I like where this chapter is going already. So far it looks like we may get to know a bit more about Zimmy's powers, we might learn more about Jeanne and how the ether works. Jack might be in it too, since Zimmy is in it AND it is going to have City Face in it (it better!).
Can anyone say "Best chapter ever!"?
EDIT: I accidentally some lettrs and words because I'm on my phone.
Also: Why are you such a sexy beast Legion?

Seems reasonable, except that I don't see how the scar can illuminate the hair that is behind her back. Her face should be shadowing that. I'm still doubting that that means she's turning into Annie, though I don't know what it'll be.

Wait a minute, those aren't her school clothes. This is either happening in the past or in Zim-city.

Heh, Zim-city. Even punnier than Zimmingham.

Gosh, the one page makes my heart race, the shift in pace from the last couple of chapters in almost exhilarating in a messed up way. Is it too much to hope that we're going to learn about the significance of The Scar?

What significance does their need to be? An ethereal being gave her the cut, so it's a wound on her ethereal being. And for some reason, it's not healing, but since we don't really know how "spirit wounds" work, especially those given by distilled hate ghosts...
Yeah, I guess there is some explaining that could be done.

Lolwut. Say, when was the last time we saw that cut on Annie? Because now I am wondering whether Zimmy copied it or it got fully transfered during the events of "Spring Heeled"... Edit: OK, Annie still had it during the happy fun times with the ex-fairies. It must be contagious then ^^

Yeah, I guess there is some explaining that could be done. What do you mean, the significant thing isn't the cut (not on this page at least), it is the fact that it is Annie's wound, and that Zimmy now has it instead.

There's no need to feel so cut up about it.
...
worth noting that her hair in this scene looks almost quite similar to Annie's as well.

Artistically, I think this is one of Tom's best pages. I really invokes the messy, haunted existence of Zimmy. The small illuminated area makes for a claustrophobic environment, and even though she can run, there doesn't seem to be anywhere she can run to. The lack of panel borders is used more often in not-quite-real spaces, and it helps with the claustrophobic effect. If there were borders, you can imagine there is a sky visible outside the panel, but no, everywhere is dark. And finally, the red glow of the scar marks it as foreign, and "active" in some way. And then there is the red glow on Zimmy, which, if you look at it again, isn't coming for the scar. This suggests there is even more after her, and it's trying to affect her.
And we can't see it.

Did... did she get infected with Annie? Or does she have impersonation-flashbacks for everyone she thinks she is?
And now for some reason I'm thinking of Rogue from X-Men. I seem to remember her having trouble letting go of the powers she'd absorbed and getting overwhelmed every once in awhile with like, mutant overdose. Maybe Zimmy is having a delusion overdose.

For awhile I was thinking Zims looked less grubby than usual, but it's likely a combination of 1. seeing her not in her uniform for the first time and 2. Tom's evolving art. We haven't seen her in a full 10 chapters!
Looks like we're having some Annie/Zimmy switcheroo antics again. Now the biggest thing to me is where is Gamma? And is Jack involved again, like he was the last time this happened? It's about time he learned whether he got those etheric abilities Zimmy and Gamma thought he might get.

It seems Zimmy has trouble telling who she is often. Anyone else feel really sorry for her?
Also, I wonder where Gamma is...

Well. That's not what I was expecting from a chapter with a pigeon on the title page. I'm glad, though; I've missed Zimmy.
