[721]Nice suit, Jones. Oh, and nice job ripping a hole into solid concrete. Always with the direct method, you are. Alternate thread title: [721] Who you gonna call?

Damn, are we aver gonna find out what exactly Jones is? I wonder though why Annie doesn't want Anja or Eggers involved.

Oh look its Jones, the person who TOTALLY ISN'T AN ANDROID AT ALL. Of course she's not. It's not like if she looked like a certain Android 18.

Much laughs at Annie and Shell's byplay.
And holy shit, Jones! Seriously?! That was easier than expected! By the way, is it just me, or does Jones look kind of annoyed? Dunno, it's kind of difficult to tell with her.
Well, at least we know she has a suit that isn't green now... AND who to call if Jack attempts any more bullshit with his etherical/technological gizmos.

Oh look its Jones, the person who TOTALLY ISN'T AN ANDROID AT ALL. Perhaps the Court is actually a computer simulation, and Jones is an Agent. Edit: to take that metaphor to it's logical conclusion, that would seem to imply that Jack is "the one"

That really is a nice suit, isn't it?
Is Annie finishing her sentence in the last panel or did she happen to notice Jones just before she said another name?

I wonder though why Annie doesn't want Anja or Eggers involved. The only reasons I can think up right now (really quick cause I'm supposed to be doing essays): A) She's afraid that they would take the opportunity to imprison Rey again. After all, once they found out he was still alive the first thing they wanted to do was keep him. B) Annie thinks Jones will be more inclined to listen to her side of the story before passing any judgment. (Although I gotta agree with KanKerai, she looks like she may be actually somewhat annoyed for once.)

That really is a nice suit, isn't it? Is Annie finishing her sentence in the last panel or did she happen to notice Jones just before she said another name? Who else would she call in such a situation? If she doesn't want Anja or James involved, Jones is the logical expert on this. She's the logical expert on everything.

I thought so at first, but now I think it's an illusion caused by the whole "cracking a concrete wall, ripping some off along with the device, and crushing them both in one hand" thing going on.

Based on the ellipses in the first speech bubble, I'd guess she wanted to call for Jones (I prefer to use a dash to denote a sudden cutoff, though other people do it differently and I don't actually know Tom's rules of style when it comes to this). However, based on the ellipses in the second bubble, I'd guess that she said that because she noticed Jones.
Perhaps we will never know!

I asked mostly because I didn't expect Annie to trust anyone in the Court enough to ask for their help in such a situation. And Kat seems like a plausible choice, considering Annie knows she's as good with machines as Jack, if not better.

If nothing else we at least have certainty now that the blade really did glance her face. Well, more than "glance", actually. I'm inclined to believe now that the "special effect" on that panel wasn't just for artistic reasons, but that the blade in fact struck a spark when hitting her.

Is Shell's shadow in the second panel a shadowman from the Wood, or is that just another person behind her?

Kudos to everybody who spotted Jones in the earlier pages.
I think the shadow behind Shell is a robot.
And yah, Jones has certainly risen on the cool board - again!

It's just a silhouette, mike. Tom draws 'em that way sometimes, usually in places lacking decent lighting.

When you mentioned that the explanation for Jones that I came up with was that she might have bathed in the river Styx. Then I remembered that that only shields you, and doesn't give you super human strength. Mysteries, mysteries...
