Last panel is a really nice end to the chapter. I'm however somewhat disappointed that we didn't learn more about the history of the court.

Eglamore's look in panel 5 is just priceless! He looks like thinking "What the hell? She's dating a gremlin?" And Carver wants to start learning how to fight with a sword... I wonder where is it going to be useful. Duelling the ghost lady, maybe? (although I can't imagine a shortsword beating a french one)

Fantastic end to the chapter! Also, Eglamore's face there at the end? Hilarious!

Eglamore's increasingly stupefied "What." face never gets old. ;D So then...that was a bit on the short side as GC chapters go, but packed with unusually massive quantities of awesome. Bravo, hooray, et cetera! (Boo to Firefox for not knowing how to spell "et cetera"!)

Is it significant that Elfsberry seems to be wearing only one necklace, but had two on when he picked her up?

Last panel made me grin, as did Eglamore's wtf expression. Great page!

Once again, Carver proves she knows little of being subtle when it comes to asking questions...or doing anything really.
And as people have already noted, Eglamore's expression is gold.

Seconded. I am also very fond of his "What the ...?" faces.

Aw, Elfsberry and Annie are soooo sweet together :3 Well, as much as that works out, haha. Great last page, although of course this means the next story page won't be until next Monday. That's always the biggest shame of end-of-chapters. At least we've got a bonus page Wednesday

That was a good chapter, where simultaneously so few, yet so much happened.
I wonder what next chapter will be about. I want Zimmy and Gamma, we haven't seen them for 7 chapters, 215 pages, more than 71 weeks, more than one year and a third D:

Annie's sweet face in panel five is adorable! I cannot decide if it is genuine affection for Coyote or just to wind Eglamore up. Probably a bit of both!
I really enjoyed this chapter, it was very beautifully done and a lot of fun to read.

Jolly is pretty fantastic, but he was squandering his mighty prancing abilities here by just walking normally.
I hope Coyote uses this disguise again, but it seems unlikely.

Last panel of the chapter is like the ending of an episode of all the good books and TV Shows The characters walk off to somewhere It's usually a boyfriend and a girfriend walking off.

Yeah, this was both awesome art and one of the best chapters all in all. Eglamore's increasingly stupefied "What." face never gets old. ;D Annie's sweet face in panel five is adorable! I cannot decide if it is genuine affection for Coyote or just to wind Eglamore up. Probably a bit of both! Provoking him to make faces seems to be her hobby or something like this. Not that he didn't brought it on himself, heh.

Hey now! That would give the story away too quickly! Would one hint really have hurt? Well, we did get some interesting revelations about the dynamics between Coyote, Ysengrin and Renard. Also; the last chapter dealt pretty heavily with the court's past, so it'll probably be some time before we get more of that. Does anyone have some ideas of what the bonus page may concern? I'm hoping for something with Coyote. Maybe a display of his favorite disguises, including but not limited to Jolly Elfsberry. Could also be about how Eglamore is coping with the feeling this trip has left him with (I imagine he could feel that his work isn't really being appreciated).

Has Annie's head shed the last traces of American football-shapedness? Part of her growing up I guess. (They do grow up so quickly - snff - )

Could also be about how Eglamore is coping with the feeling this trip has left him with (I imagine he could feel that his work isn't really being appreciated). Well, Annie's basically asking him to teach her swordfighting. That'll make him feel somewhat appreciated. I wonder if she will tell him the origin of that sword. (She really should show it to him. She should be practicing with its non-magical twin - same size, same proportions, same balance, same or very slightly heavier weight.) One possible complication. I know Eglamore carries at least one short sword, but I don't think we've ever seen anyone in-comic actually use a sword that wasn't two-handed. (Even when Eggy's throwing a sword one-handed, he uses a two-handed sword.) Oh, and if this were an adventure-game-based comic, we WOULD eventually see Annie wielding her sword in the etherium. Since it isn't, we may or may not see that.

I wonder if anyone else can see the Coyote dagger in all its colorful splendor or if it will trick the perception. It can obviously change form and I'm sure there's a trick too it.

Jolly is pretty fantastic, but he was squandering his mighty prancing abilities here by just walking normally. Since he was escorting Annie out, were he to prance, Annie would have to follow suit. Now imagine the kinda damage that woulda done to Eglamore's mind. ;D
