As to generic themes, i prefer to hear Obsidian Shell while i read Gunnerkrigg. Just for "melodic tricky" feel.

I'm almost sure that Ysengrin, in his current state, both physical and mental, would have something like this as a theme song. A little old fashioned and a little whacky. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlYBPuHeZxwJust imagine his snapping and creaking limbs and him moving as the bass line hits and tell me it doesn't fit Haha.

Antimony needs some alternative theme. Else - Firestorm? Powermetal instrumental, but there's no need for words.

I don't have music for any particular characters or locations, but as a whole, Brahms symphonies really does it for me (yes, i am a classical music-nerd). By a coincidence the Brahms playlist was playing when i first discovered GKC, and while i was completily drawn into the comic, the music provided a perfect backdrop. Especially fitting are these two movements: 4th. symphony, 2nd. movement: 1st. symphony, 4th. movement: The last one, in my mind, fits very nicely, especially during the brilliant part of the main theme (you'll hear it), with page 792 and 793. Also first post.
