We already know (Tom told us) Zimmy's theme music, and it's specifically Stress-Justice: www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5S0dkLZoTg . Also, a more...general theme has been supplied again by Tom in the 404 page. This always makes me think of the whole comic in a different light from usual. This thread, if anyone wants to participate, is to post whatever music exposes better, for us the readers, the character of people or places in the comic. I'll start with a classic, that is, the theme from The Tingler, Obviously for our Dr. Randy Disaster. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtQTVLutDWI I tried to find a theme from Plan 9 from outer Space, but couldn't. For Smitty, i find great Pachelbel's Canon in D, but it does not quite convey the character, only his abilities. It will be more fitting when he will grow into a really cool, not stuttering guy. If he ever does. My search goes on for him. Next in line, i've got Diego. Black Mage Village sounds techno mage-y enough, but also somewhat quirky, just as i expect him to be. Now, your turn.

Ooh I love musical themes!
Well, I think this song from the Gurren Lagann OST goes perfect for robots. I envision it playing in chapter 12 when Annie and Rey are making their escape.

one of my favourite pieces for Antimony : mellow and mysterious and marvellous and moody all at the same time.... although I don't expect anyone to agree that it's just right for her *cheeky grin* Pachelbel's Canon is a wonderful piece of music... but I feel it's more suited to Muut. I think it underlines his mystical aspect quite eloquently --- and it would contrast poingantly with Annie's rage towards him, I think. for Surma I'm always hearing this, somewhere, somehow : ethereal and frail... Don't you agree that this works for Smith For ParleyI'm feeling a cool rock song like this (not taking the lyrics into account). The antics between Janet and Winsbury are so cool they make me zing and hop, like this ! last but not least, who can resist this song for our favourite loudmouth Red : she's marching to her own beat, very cute but straight ahead *grin* edit : I just stumbled across this one to illustrate both Gamma's sweet willingness to help her friend and the subsequent exhaustion edit 2 : how do you feel about this theme linked to the cherry tree ? I'm also strongly in favour of this alienating music for the trip into the heart of the forest...

I heard it once, and immediately thought "Janet!" ) Jack: Jumpin Jack Flash-The Rolling Stones(How could you have NOT posted this yet?) The Robots: (just the general Populace): Harder,Better,Faster,Stronger-dont know artist. Psychopomps: I Can't Decide-Scissor Sisters.(Don't the 'Pomps decide who lives and dies, in a manner of speaking?) I just realized- a lot of people at the court have names that begin with J.

Continuing with the Final Fantasy music from landa (Nobuo Uematsu ftw), I think this fits Jeanne's ghost rather well.

for some reason, I've always thought that a piece like Nuages Gris by Liszt would be a fitting theme for either the whole court or just certain creepy/mysterious areas sooo haunting. esp the very end! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6objDnNYGCQ

This song totally describes Diego's betrayal of Jeanne. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaYkmNX_1uUNot just the direct events of it, but the internal break that caused him to go ahead with such a heinous crime.
