Happy day! Every question ever has been answered! Yeah, and no new, more delving questions have been added! This must be the end of the comic! Well, it was good while it lasted. Thanks for an enjoyable read, Tom!

Aww, Marcia looks cute in the 3rd panel, like a young teenage girl.

I would like some insight into the emergency at the court, but I'd be okay with the chapter ending here. Of course, we get at least one more day for this chapter

Hm... I know I've seen speculation that Marcia was a dryad, and it seems like the majority of people here agreed that the disappearances were actually a trick played by the adults, but I don't think anyone suggested that it might be Marcia herself taking the kids!
Maybe I just don't remember, though.

Damn it, hidden in plain sight! That Marcia might be an (ex-)dryad was on my thought pretty much since the first time we've seen her (and not only mine, there's been plenty of hints, after all), but never did it occur to me that it might actually be her snatching the kids! I feel stupid now. It seems all so obvious! Edit: Also, contest between Annie in the 1st panel and Marcia in the 6th! Can't decide who looks more awesome!

And look at those eyes... We finally see them as they were meant to be seen, golden as molten steel. Peculiar that her transformation looks so evil. I wonder what the purpose of this exercise was?
Meanwhile, I'm sure that the emergency, like the ghost, was a manufactured story. This trip was clearly planned to scare the bejeebers out of the students.

Well I'll be. I thought that idea went all Joss Whedon when she was worried about all the trees rather than one in particular.

It was only Hamadryads that were each tied to one specific tree. I think that dryads were connected to the trees of a region in general.

Man, I'll admit it - I got entirely thrown by the twist. Awesome work, Tom. ;D And I love that 6th panel - how best to ask Tom nicely if he could provide a larger version? I wanna stick it as my desktop for a while.

I would like some insight into the emergency at the court, but I'd be okay with the chapter ending here. Of course, we get at least one more day for this chapter Um...it's pretty much given that the "emergency" was a part of a hoax put on by the adults. We don't know the full details of the hoax yet, but probably will next page. Also, I shall refrain from making bad puns about Bob, Marcia, and wood. ;D

How can you not make puns? I can here looking for comments like about Bob's slightly creepy fascination with trees.

I wonder if it's dendrophilia that Tom predicted people would have a problem with in this chapter. Even people fine with dating outside of species may have a problem with marrying outside your biological kingdom. :-)

Huh. I actually wasn't expecting the "Marcia is a Dryad" theory to be correct. And I definitely didn't think she was the one kidnapping the students.
Words cannot describe how awesome the sixth panel of this page is.

Is Tom actually ANSWERING questions without raising dozens more? At least for me it raised the question: "What the hell is a dryad?" *walks off to wikipedia*

there are tons more questions that need answers! "What is the court and how was it founded?" subplot "Who is Jeane?" subplot "What was that place?" Jack subplot Readers: "Ok seriously, what IS that place?" Zimmy subplot "Who is Annie's father?" subplot "Who did Reynardine posses in order to woo Surma?" "Will Kat ever build that robot body for Robot?" "How do the court robots work? they don't even have any real moving parts!" "How do Blinker Stones work on a 'Scientific' level?" "How does the Donlan computer work?" "Will Jack ever get un-morbid and creapifyin' so he and Kat can get together?" "Who will Annie be with in the end? (Rey? Mort? Any assortment of other boys of the court?)" "Is there a deeper lesson Tom is trying to tell us, instead of just simply telling a story?" "Why do the robots hate the 'Dragon Slayers' so much?" And most importantly: "Why is Boxbot so terrible???" We got lots more questions to answer. BACK TO WORK! THOSE QUESTIONS NEED TO BE SPECULATED, STAT!! *Cracks whip*

"Who will Annie be with in the end? (Rey? Mort? Any assortment of other boys of the court?)" How about no one? The robots were built by Diego, Diego hated Young, Young was the first dragon slayer...

ok...that's two, even though I'd kinda disagree with the answer to the first one. but whatever, everyone's entitled to their opinions. I just find it fun to be a shipper.

I would just like to take a second to point out that Tom has outsmarted most of us, again. He was even pretty obvious leading up to it, but still managed to twist it somewhere unexpected. >_>
