I love the angle and lighting on Kat's face.
We don't see William's face. He probably is (or atleast ought to be) in a deep glum over Janet's disappearance.

You know,I wonder if it's possible that the 'ghost' in this page is Jack.Just a random thought...

You know,I wonder if it's possible that the 'ghost' in this page is Jack.Just a random thought... That thought occurred to me as well. However, it looks like the ghost is drifting over-top the tent in today's strip. Unless Jack can fly/become insubstantial, it doesn't seem likely to me that he's the ghost. Or at least, not for this particular abduction.

Poor Paz. She gets attacked by all the ghosts. (Maybe that's her etheric superpower.)
So is the ghost grabbing anyone who goes out of sight, or just the girls? Jack was fine untroubled by supernatural phenomena ...well this ghost didn't get him at least.

Dear Tom, my hat goes off to you (again!). Without a single word spoken, without any fancy visual effects, you manage to capture the felleings of this scene so very, very stunningly well. After the friendly warmth of the first few panels, the last three took my completely off-guard (just the same as Paz, I'd wager). I needed a moment to realize what was happening, but when I did, my heart literally skipped a beat. I am genuinely worried about Paz right now.

As I can't reconcile Janet's disappearance with everyone else's unconcern, I have come up with the following sinister theory: nobody remembers her. Her existence's been wiped from their minds by means of psychic ghost powers. And now they'll forget Paz, too.
Er. Maybe this oughta go in Wild Spec.

but why is no one worried about janet? At this age, the kids still trust the adults. And those (in the form of Marcia) don't seem to be worried, so they may be inclined to not be worried themselves. Also, they probably know Janet as someone who can watch out for her own.

Maybe they've reached the same conclusion most of us had - it was a setup and Janet's eating jammy dodgers in Marcia's kitchen.
Which, technically, could still be true. Wouldn't be very scary though.

What is that instrument that John's playing? Looks like a Dulcimer... I've seen several. One of the Benefits/hazards of growing up in the American Southeast, in an area prone to Bluegrass Music. Though the Instrument does have, I believe, Celtic origins. I jsut don't particularly care to Wiki it and confirm. From what I hear, they're fairly easy to play, but to be Multi-talented on several instruments at such a young age shows remarkable skill on John's part.

Or maybe it's Bob or Marcia or Eglamore, considering how Paz doesn't seem to be very scared.
Not Nevihta, anyhow.
Say, what was the purple thing Paz got out of her backpack?

Poor Paz, goes to get some chocolate and gets snatched away.
And that Traveller Guitar looks awesome! I thought it might be a mandolin or a ukulele, but it wasn't really drawn as any of them. It's a nice touch.

After disposing of Paz's lifeless body, they now have the chocolate all to themselves. The last panel is their point of view, going "oh god finally, chocolate"
