I would like to pose a question about Chapter 21. In comic 514, There are colors over Gillitie Forest, yet everywhere else is grey. I'd like to know why.

It's the color of ethereum, of course!

I'm curious about the question about Robot's arm- do we know for sure that it's in the cherry tree room, and not that there are a bunch of environmental habitats and it's in a different one?

I seem to recall Tom saying somewhere, a long time ago, that it was in "an" artificial habitat room... and I never thought that anyone assumed there was only one until you mentioned it... but there's no way I'd be able to dig up that quote, if it even exists and I didn't just imagine it.

It wasn't the same room, just so you know.

It wasn't the same room, just so you know. Oh cool. I had always assumed that it was.

I would like to be double bold and propose an update to the list itself.
I've been looking at this list and trying very hard to think of important unanswered questions to add, but instead of new questions, I think I've seen some distinctions that I think we're missing.
This is a list of unanswered questions, yes, but I think there are some questions that run much deeper than others. Going through GC, there are things that make you tilt your head sideways and wonder what's the meaning of such-and-such, but you can tell that maybe it's just something cool, or a character trait - nothing critical, if you will (eg. Eggie's jumps). On the other hand, there are things that get stated once and only once, and you realize that they hint at a much, MUCH deeper game than we've seen so far - ("The world continues to spin", "Man's attempt to become God", the arm, 113).
I think it might behoove us to have some sort of distinction between the "how does he jump so highs/hurricane eyes" questions from the "world spinning" questions. It might help us figure out how deep this rabbit hole goes, so to speak.
Does this make any sense? I think that might have sounded better in my head/I destroyed the english language there.

I've been taking out questions that have either been answered, are unimportant, will not be explained, or are not actual questions, if that helps.

How about 'What did Jack see in Zimmy's world' as a question raised in the Power Station chapter, as well as why he ended up there?
That is something I am interested to know and hope we find out...

Here's a few. In chapters 4 and 21, on pages 61 and 527, we see what appears to be a crypt in the wall bearing the inscription, "Dulce et decorum (est)." (The last word is not actually shown, but through context I think it safe to assume that is what it is.) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dulce_et_Decorum_EstThose familiar both with the original words of Horace and of Wilfred's Owens poem rebutting those words and supporters of WWI who quoted them will immediately wonder what significance they have here, so my questions are: Is the crypt or tomb that bears this line the resting place of Mort's body? And if so, does this mean that Mort died in battle, or in defense of the Court? or perhaps even in WWI?(Scratch that last. He's "new and inexperienced")

Chapter 19-- What is the power station for? -- Why does the station mess with Zimmy's head? -- Why does a fake Kat show up? -- Why was Jack in Zimmy's crazy mental world (or whatever it is)? I'll add "what happen with Jack's mind, since he was no close to Gamma when they're return to the real world" 471 (page 29 of chapter 19)

Interesting theory.
Antimony (III) trisulfide (also called stibnite) was used to make kohl. In/since the early bronze age, I believe.

Hurray, answers! I've crossed out the questions answered today. He's "new and inexperienced") Ah, spiffy. I'll add that. Dario-- What do you mean? I think that question is covered by the questions from last chapter, but I could be misunderstanding you.

I asked if Martin's appearance in Chapter 16 was all we were going to see of him (which I attempted to word so it could also cover the "Martin = Mort" theory) and got no answer. Is this a suitable unanswered question?

Martin is the 12-year-old dead boy that Annie helps to come to terms with the fact that he is dead so that he can choose whether he wants to go to the Great Beyond with his mother's or his father's psychopomp. It was the subject of Chapter 16: Ghost Stories.

Another question for Chapter 12:
Do all court robots have the unidentified part on their CPU? Is it just the "Seraph" models, or just Robot?

I was clicking through some old Questions to Tom threads, when I found this: So will we ever learn how Zimmy knew that Reynardine was more than a toy? Yep. That's one of your questions for Ch. 5. I thought you might like having confirmation that this question IS going to get answered at some point!

Chapter 18-- Jones: Android, just an emotionless person, or what? -- answered p. 592. Actually, only partially answered. "Or what" is still a valid option.

Okay, questions for this chapter!
* What the heck is the spider thing on Jack's face? * Could Kat actually lay a dude out? WITH KARATE??? * What happened to Young and Nevihta? * Now that we know that Hyland wasn't just a throwaway bully character, what's the story with him, the old Gunnerkrigg crew, and his son? * Are there circumstances where it /is/ okay to let sixty angry kids and a herd of laser cows take over your house?
Edited to add: The fourth bullet point should really also read: "Is Jack actually his son or are we just jumping to conclusions?"
