Not just her personality, her face as well. O.o Of course we should expect a Zimmy whose body has finally grown to catch up with her age to look different than what we are used to, but like aggadahGothic said, on this page she looks like Annie with her hair dyed black (plus red eyes and a greyish complexion). If she hadn't just stated her own identity, I would be asking if Zimmy forgot who she is again. From Coyote's vaguely Indian/Middle Eastern assumed look Fascinating, I was so distracted by the Coyote-parts of his face that I didn't even think of really looking at the human parts. I wonder if he chose this look specifically, and if yes, why (I would expect Coyote to go with a Native American look since that's where he's from, but for all we know he could also be pestering Zimmy in another shape every day or be forced into a specific appearance by the distortion) though it's probably much too early for speculation. (Haha, who am I kidding, this is the GKC forum after all.) But then (regarding both paragraphs), who knows if either of these two is actually who we assume them to be, instead of any other combination of hallucinations, Nobodies, memories, personality fragments, Ether echoes and general distortion weirdness. Let's not forget these instances of Zimmy intermittently taking control of those elf kids who themselves turned out to be parts of both Annie and Zimmy, but also including a little peek into Tam's mind and even then the truth was a little more "complicated".

With a bottle of hair dye, she and Antimony could be twins. The long-coveted Zimmy=Annie theory finds new ground, or perhaps I am simply succumbing to the enthralling call of madness. I kinda think Zimmy is related to Omega. Not a daughter, I guess, but an intended puzzle piece. Kinda cruel, if that'd be true.

High school is like Dante's Inferno except with teenagers. One hopes that for some people it's more of a Purgatorio. Have we ever seen hard a solid white background between panels like this? I think the closest we've seen is Chapter 59 and this page from Chapter 26. Aha, I've found a couple! We have Annie dreaming about her mother in chapter 31, as well as Annie remembering a moment with her father in chapter 37. They're both flashbacks, so they've got rounded panel corners at the beginning and end of the sequence. I note that there are no rounded corners on the first page of this chapter--maybe because it's not a flashback, maybe because we're arriving in medias res.

Z and O's visual similarity is certainly not coincidental; the comic itself notes it. Omega having secret family at this point, however, does seem unlikely, logistically and narratively...
My suspicion is that Z is something like a failed attempt to recreate O's etheric ability. A secret project by the Court, known only to a select few, instituted perhaps by O herself, knowing that her own precognition would worsen over time.
O: Seeing everything that has ever happened in perfect detail, with some ability to manipulate simple minds. Z: Having psychotic flashes of the past and future, which others can be psychically drawn into. (Recall that Zimmy says "We's still on that roof." Her world is not physical.)
(This theory leaves the question of why Z was very much not in the custody of the Court for however many years she lived in Birmingham. One could make somewhat elaborate patch-ups: e.g. one section of the Court abandoned her and then another, less secretive section found her. We know that different parts of the Court can be non-communicative, but this is rather unsatisfying...)

Ok, I was wrong. But we'll still see what she did in the past - it has been mentioned too many times before to not be a Chekov Gun. EDIT: as mentioned by some, Zimmy resembles Annie too much. She's more of a black hair, darker skin Annie than the Zimmy we know. Does she admire Annie that much? Or is it something like this (and the next few pages)? EDIT2: pyradonis beat me tho this. EDIT 3: but if you take Zimmy from this page* she looks a lot nicer and prettier, and a lot like a dark-haired Annie. *page [737], also the name of my favorite commercial jet. Boring, isn't it?

Zimmy does not exert herself without a cause but she is capable of it. See her punching Anthony through ether shenanigans. The biggest difference to Zimmy and Coyote in terms of threat is that Zimmy doesn't actively like hurting people. She doesn't mind spooking people but she doesn't want to either. There's a reason a lot of her threats in hindsight sounds like warnings more than anything. And in the flashback of Zimmy and Gamma being approached by the Court it's rather strongly implied that Zimmy only said yes for Gamma's sake. www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=191And very specifically Zimmy was reaching out for agreement before Gamma even got a translation after Gamma's safety got floated.

Very easy to explain Court creation Zimmy not being with them - Zimmy running away. Ah, true. I cannot recall why I brushed off the possibility. Perhaps it simply seemed odd that such a young girl (<11) could escape whatever shadowed basement it is that Omega and the Court directorship work from. On the other hand, it's entirely possible that once they realised she was not a second Omega, they transferred her to some créche in the Court to eventually become a 'normal' Chester student. Escaping that might be less of an issue.

It doesn't sound as if she has ever been to the Court before, at least not while she was in school age.
Fortunately, there are many other possibilities still, for example a scientist defecting from the Court and taking a Zimmy too young to remember that time with themselves.
