Sounds like Omega didn't know that combining Coyote (or his powers) with Zeta (or her powers) would make a distortion like this. However, it is a distortion like this they were looking for. Anthony probably wanted to bring Surma back, Omega wanted to meet Antimony and/or Kat an get a new body, maybe.
Nice facial expression on Anthony in the next to last panel. Here's hoping that the first panel of the next page is his expression post-explanation.

Tony's looking a little...extra-busted in that seventh panel. Self-abusive demonic rituals are a hard habit to kick, apparently.
Also, saying Zimmy "needs more than help" does not reassure me about Omega's intentions at all.

Tony worked on the Omega project iirc, so Omega has probably seen him crack a smile in private.

It's a distinction that Zimmy would mess up.

I don't know why, but the last panel just gives me the giggles.
Also, I have a (probably) irrational hope that somehow Omega will be able to breakthrough Tony's inability to open up fully around Annie.

ah, the return of the "title card" panel, a classic. I always hear the Spongebob narrator when I see these. but seriously, I feel like Meg has some motivation beyond just fangirling Tony. For example, perhaps bringing Annie to that point allowed Meg to remind her that the whole Star Ocean thing is still happening...

More like very few people see something to appreciate in Tony. Ever think that Surma was thinking "I can fix him"?

More like very few people see something to appreciate in Tony. Ever think that Surma was thinking "I can fix him"? Never crossed my mind, to be honest. I mean, it makes sense but I imagine it was more of an "perhaps I can also help him open up with others". The way I understood "Get Lost!" she first and foremost cared about Tony giving her in a romantic relationship what Jimmy Jims and 'is stupid training didn't.

Tony's not super used to meeting a fan, it seems. she made sure to touch the hand developed for him. Also she's a big Eli Roth and loved seeing him chop it off

More like very few people see something to appreciate in Tony. Ever think that Surma was thinking "I can fix him"? Surma didn't want to fix Tony; she wanted him as he was. "Then we can find a way to be alone. Together." We've only really met three of his peers who know and dislike him: Jimmy-Jims and Brinnie, for obvious reasons, and Anja, probably because she shares his anxiety in group settings but acts on it completely differently. Tony freezes, Anja fawns; their trauma responses have negative synergy. Other than that, everyone seems to value Tony professionally, and if they've had a chance to have one-on-one meetings with him, they find him likable in that setting. And Brinnie crushed on him even without that.

I resent the "no, I understand" more in here that in its original setting. The lengthy explanation would be lots of fun. Something like:
- Father, remember you told me that you've been workin on the Omega device? And you could not tell me more about it? Because the Court? - Yes, yes, and you should not be talking openly about this in the middle of the stre... - Father, meet Omega. -... ... ... Wait, wot? [EDIT] - We have to think of something to help Zimmy. This ruthless malevolent lassie here had no problem on screwing her life up. We have to help, she's my friend. - Who is this Zimmy you talk about so much, Antimony? - You never met her, but you may now her as Subject Zeta. - WTF? YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH THAT A B O M I N A T I O N?

Brinnie certainly didn't dislike Tony back in the day, but got royally* fed up with his 'condition'. Following the Thousand Eyes chapter, Tom did an out-take of Brinnie chatting with Anja over a cuppa, and Brinny starts unsubtly** fishing for Tony's availability.
Omega may have competition!
Speaking of which, 'Omega' -> 'Meg' -> .. The Meg!?
* Remember who Dad is? btw, according to some sources, her Mum is Verdandi! ** That'd be Brinnie. Besides, Anja would know her too well not to pick up on the subtle fishing.

Now I want Omega to meet Janet and Winsburry, to see if the Court really didn't know about their relationship (thanks to Kat and Annie), or if for some reason the information just wasn't shared.

Brinnie certainly didn't dislike Tony back in the day, but got royally* fed up with his 'condition'. I'd say she was mostly fed up with his rejection. If he'd said yes equally awkwardly, she'd probably be fine with it. Do you have a link for this out-take? I don't recall ever seeing it.

Omega hops down off the wall and says that Zimmy needs more than just help. But she adds that it seems surprising even to her that combining Zimmy's ability with Coyote's power created an environment such as she and Charles searched for for years, one that allowed her to live a normal life. Since it didn't happen until after Antimony failed to die as predicted, it's quite likely that Omega didn't anticipate her current situation – it seems more likely to me that she looked into the future and saw no way for her to live normally, but on the other hand she did see this incident beyond which her predictions fell apart, so perhaps the answer lay there.
Then Tony emerges from his house. As it turns out, Omega transported herself and Annie to just outside the Carver home. Tony thought he heard Annie's voice. She starts to respond, but Omega jumps in and shakes Tony's hand, saying it's nice to finally meet him and that he's done good work. "Always a pleasure!" Tony doesn't understand, but he looks at Antimony. Then there's a "THEY EXPLAIN" panel. Presumably they explain all the stuff we've just seen.
Tom's comment is "Hey! Good job!" Although it's still unclear, it seems Tony's been working on Omega's ... interface machine thing all this time, and therefore Omega knows who he is, but he probably doesn't recognize her as this humanoid girl. He may or may not know that Omega was once a person; it's possible that he was told that Omega was a machine and nobody contradicted it. I suppose it's possible that Omega may have told him herself that she once used to be human, or maybe she didn't; I don't know.
What will be interesting is what Tony's opinion is. I don't expect to see any emotional reaction to any of this, given that it's Tony, locked in his mind cage as he is, but what I do want to know is whether he has any thoughts or recommendations about a course of action, now that he presumably knows what happened to cause the distortion. And then there's the question of whether he's going to the Court's new world. Having no etheric abilities, he could, but he'd be leaving his daughter behind, and he most likely doesn't want to do that. I notice that he's in his house and not down by the docks or on a ship right now. My guess is that he doesn't intend to go.
What happens now? At some point those ships will leave, and the star ocean will be deactivated, meaning that this area will then be fully affected by the distortion, as the Court's machinery will stop draining the distortion for energy. But Omega seems to be able to navigate the distortion at will, and Annie has figured out how to get from one place to another too, as long as she can get everyone nearby to focus on the same place. Will they get everyone together and all go to Kat's lab? Of course, we don't know exactly when the ships will leave – maybe they won't be ready for a week. Maybe they're leaving in 5 minutes.
And then there's the question of when the situation with Zimmy/Coyote/etc. will change, and how. I don't think this distortion can last forever as it is. What other state(s) will it shift into, and when? Most likely Coyote is waiting for something.

There's someone out there for everyone. What surprises me is that Tony has attracted three different women for seemingly three different reasons!
1. Brinnie - Surface attraction, possibly also Spock Syndrome (attraction to emotionally unavailable man - perhaps he reminded her of the Old Man) 2. Surma - She saw the real him, once she spent some time with him one-on-one (Tony out of his Mind Cage) 3. Omega - Attracted by his interests and activities (shared interests for sure, and I bet Miss Omega has no illusions about what Tony is and how he is)
That's really not a bad track record for someone with Tony's challenges. Not sure how he'll react, though - he never really let go of Surma...
