Sounds like Coyote is claiming a pretty high rank among the gods. Are we heading for Ragnarökr in this chapter?

Coyote is, as is to be expected, an ENORMOUS HAM.
As well as somewhat megalomaniacal of course, but we expected that.
Still a champ though. Almost makes me wish Rey was along; I quite enjoyed their interactions. Of course, when you're the only one with a "you-will-come-to-no-harm" pass, bringing your most-wanted body snatching demon friends is probably a poor idea.

Coyote knows how to make an entrance.
I'm guessing the next page will be Annie's reaction, which will look something like: -_-

Nah, she'll say something to the effect of: you're speaking metaphorically, aren't you?

Coyote's speech reminds me of some of those creation stories where the world is made out of the remains of a slain god (such as in Norse mythology, where the world was made out of the first frost giant, Ymir, after Odin and his brothers slew him).
The difference, of course, is that Coyote is still alive. Of course, the guy was probably boasting when he said all that. Or (as Yin suggested) speaking in metaphors.

That forest must be like sooo windy, it needs to compensate for all the laughter of Coyote...

The trees are his bones, the rocks are his teeth... and Ysengrim is his not on a moderated forum, I won't.

Wow. I wonder how long he spent rehearsing that entrance? Doesn't seem like he would use it often.

I like that the trees are shaped like bones and the rocks are shaped as teeth when Coyote is saying that. Nice details on the page.

The leaves are also shaped like laughter!

This is one of my favourite pages of the comic so far, it's amazing.

Trying to extrapolate the analogy: if the rustling of leaves is his laughter, then what is his roar? And if you touch one of the Glass-eyed men, do you also touch Coyote's nerves? And possibly most important of all: where would we find his heart?
