You’ve heard it here, folks. Chapter title won’t lie, we’re gonna find out who Annie’s crush is this chapter.

Why do I have the "Father Brown" theme running through my head? = Robot: "No, I can't tell you what happened with Loup, that is between me and robot god."

Word association: 'Confessions' conjures 'lamentations'. These two words formed the title of the Babylon 5 episode where all the Markab died off.
Let us hope Tom has other things in mind!

The star formation shown does not resemble any standard constellation, ancient or modern. But before we all go off like oversugared toddlers with speculation that the Gunnerkrigg milieu is not on Earth as we know it , let me draw your attention to something I noticed. While looking at the image on the chapter page, tip your head to your right 90 degrees (alternatively, tip the image 90 degrees counterclockwise). Look at the star arrangement as a whole. Then click on this link. Dammit, Tom

I am sure this is not the first time a gray-haired wise woman, in the midst of applying her hard-won esoterical knowledge to the interpretation of an arcane piece of alchemical text, shook her head ruefully and muttered, "I wuz played".

New chapter: "Confessions." This implies more than one confession, but who is confessing to whom, and what are they confessing?
GC has been seen to take inspiration from anime in many places, and in anime a confession means someone declaring to someone else that they're in love with them. Will we see something of that sort? Perhaps Lana will confess to Jerrek, throwing Loup for a loop? Or might this turn that on its head; might Kat confess to Paz that what the Court offered her in the previous chapter's final snare means more to her than any relationship could?
Or will Janet and Winsbury finally reveal their relationship to everyone?
In any case, there's been a lot of focus on Loup/Jerrek lately and how he's affecting the main cast; will this shift the focus to another area of the story? We haven't seen Jones for some time, for one thing. The psychopomps have been notably absent since Jeanne's freeing. What about Zimmy and Gamma?
The chapter title image is of what appear to be stars in the sky, the background shading from black to a purplish gray in the lower right. This suggests at least one nighttime outdoor scene somewhere in the chapter, but it's hard to say more than that.

Considering everyone in the comic seems to have a bunch of secrets and things they are holding back, this chapter could be about almost anything.

Now that's just crazy talk.

I always forget the correct pronunciation of Loup. But maybe it's like Peridot, (Pear-ee-dot vs. Pear-ee-dough) and the correct way is wrong?

I always forget the correct pronunciation of Loup. But maybe it's like Peridot, (Pear-ee-dot vs. Pear-ee-dough) and the correct way is wrong? I think pronouncing it "Loo" is correct when we're talking the word from old French for wolf but saying "Loop" can be an anglicization that isn't entirely wrong for English speakers. If memory serves, in the retrospective for the chapter that "Loup" named himself the author mentioned that the name was pronounced "Loo" in the comic but he might say it the other way sometimes, presumably by accident. That leaves the door open for jokes using either pronunciation, at least in English, I think.
