yeah, it seemed familiar, but it's apparently the exact same page. I'm wondering if it's a mistake

What chance they run into a smug looking Jherrek... who feels unaccountably guilty?

My favorite part about Gunnerkrigg Court is that Tom can accidentally upload the same page twice and we will all immediately jump into theories about it being a different timeline or something else crazy when the reality is far more mundane.

It's probably a good thing that today's page was a "wrapping up" moment without any big new developments; the wrong page has definitely upstaged the right page's content.
(And it had already been put right when I first visited the site today; I didn't know about the mix-up until I came to the forum.)

I'm worried they won't find anyone non-etheric in the Court anymore, ever

Catching up after the holiday weekend ... first, it would appear that James has calmed down and will not be demanding explanations for what specifically Renard did to irritate Loup. It would also appear that Parley, at least, did not know about the meeting that Kat and several others are at. James may not know either. And we still don't know what that fire was in the distance. Where's Cvet, by the way? As before, Parley is teleporting in stages due to her range limitation, but Annie stops her when they're partly home and asks if she and Renard can walk the rest of the way. James expresses some concern, considering Loup, but Renard thinks Loup has done what he means to do for now. They're ignoring the various other dangers that might be around, however. James tries to console Renard, who appreciates it, and then James and Parley are off to ... wherever they're off to. Annie and Renard continue by themselves. Narratively this suggests that either Annie and Renard need to talk about something, or that they'll run into someone or something else on the way home. Yet another kind of snare, perhaps? I notice that Loup has faced a snare this chapter, then Kat has, then Renard has ... will Annie face one next? Will the psychopomps finally call in their marker?

why would they need time alone when they can speak where no one could hear them except Loup if he knew it exist I wonder if Loup knows about the "familiar" thing? He's interacted with them since it happened, that's how he was able to basically swim up Annie's hair to talk to Renard just before seeing the bright light thing nearby, but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning why they were linked in his presence.
Not sure it matters, just curious. It seems like there could be effects on Annie if Renard were hurt, or vice versa.
Agree that they should be able to talk privately whenever they like, but I have to guess that it would be easier to do if they were away from everyone, so they don't appear distracted or walk into walls or what have you. Neither is famed for their multitasking capability.
