By The Way: Is the title/comment a Violet Welburn reference? I (with the Duck's help) can generate several other possibilities but "million dollar legs" was/is my best guess with the context.

I can't get over how skinny she is. At least she's got confidence.

Was this chapter just Tom's excuse to draw an outfit he liked that none of the main characters would ever wear?

Okay, can somebody explain what this page is referring to? The line "What, this old thing?" etc. is apparently quite old: just some Google-fuIt's used in some form in The Great Gatsby, and it's also a line from It's a Wonderful Life. Edit: Violet is the character that says the line in It's a Wonderful Life, hence the "okay, Violet" of Tom. And besides that looking or feeling like a million dollars seems quite selfexplanatory.

Whoa, that camera angle. And Arizona "Rizzo" Shell here is rocking a pair of thigh-high silk stockings, I'm sure, though we can't see the garter belt holding them up. Kat's attention has been "got", though there's no reason to think it will go anywhere. This scene has the air of the "puppy Renard" page, pure silliness for fun's sake alone.

Okay, can somebody explain what this page is referring to? I'm pretty sure Shell's line is a reference to Violet in Its A Wonderful Life.

I have to ask. If the newbots eat food... do they poop?

I have to ask. If the newbots eat food... do they poop? That occurred to me too. However, to be completely no-fun about it, we don't know how they process the food. What seems certain is that their metabolic by-products likely don't even come close to the composition of human feces. Frankly I'm now wondering how they use what they drink, having just had to bring home my tomcat who had a urinary obstruction. Would Kat have designed waste systems with the same inconveniences and drawbacks that conventional human beings endure? There's a lot of rabbit hole to go down once you get started here, haha.

Yep, for me that was an instantly recognizable quote from a great movie. Tom gave it away by calling her Violet in the comment below. Great one, Tom, that was a lot of fun!

I have to ask. If the newbots eat food... do they poop? They literally burn the food in tiny stoves they have in place of a stomach and exhale smoke.

Really, to be sure, we would need to know how much magic is involved here I think. Are we looking at a physical metabolic process, possibly implemented in hardware, or magical energy conversion? Dunno.
I don't think either Kat or Juliette is known for their deep understanding of chemical processes, with the possible exception of crystals, but then we're talking about a couple of geniuses in a fantasy world, so who knows?
On the bright side, I don't think it will matter to the plot either way.

The waste product is ether That leads to an interesting but fairly disgusting mental image of how the Court might collect a lot of ether! Now that there are so many NP around...

I have to ask. If the newbots eat food... do they poop? In scientific terms, is NP = P?
