I'm thinking the next thing we'll see is someone taking the spear (branches?) for Aata to save him. Hopefully an interchangeable shadow man drone rather than someone we care about!
I suppose it could be something more like Parley slicing them off but I really feel like it's time for drama. And cookies!

Have we ever seen Loup react to recovering those Ysengrim's memories Coyote stole in order to manipulate him? I can't recall if he ever mentioned those memory thefts. If he hasn't mentioned them, I wonder if that is because knowing Ysengrim was being manipulated into the current course of action simply had no effect on Loup... Or if he just haven't got those memories back yet. Maybe his mention of "seeing Coyote's plan for him" had something to do with that? . In fact, ingesting them appears to have been what triggered Loup to come into being in the first place. (Coyote having hidden away a few choice ones before putting this plan in motion.) He got *some* memories back, but did he get the specific ones that would show him the extent of Coyote's manipulation? After Ysengrim kills Coyote, the page that shows him recovering memories focus mostly on Coyote being dismissive towards him. My feel is Y and then Loup got exactly the right memories to push them into the current course of action, but Loup's still being taken for a ride |
