*title* we never saw her interacting with anything in the eather, except that one time she went into space, but that doesnt count
also, wouldnt a rock Jones doll would be indistinguishable from early Jones?

welcome to the forum viceries!
I don't believe we've seen her in the ether, but I think the general consensus is that Jones probably has no ether presence or abilities.

It stands to reason that "real" stones would look the same.

Welcome to the forum!
IIRC, the closest thing we've seen is Coyote's point of view (a being who "swims in the ether", so he looks through the ether ALL the time) and she looks....like a woman carved out of stone. She looks EXACTLY the same.

We got two Word of Toms on the topic (first two of the search results for "Jones" and "ether," and the third verifies what saardvark said): www.chrysoprax.org/gunnerkrigg/results?term=jones+etherKeep in mind these answers were before the Jones chapter where we learned a lot of about her, so Tom probably wanted to keep her mysterious for that reveal. I'm inclined to agree with everyone in this thread so far on their assumptions that she'd just look like anyone/anything else that doesn't have etherial abilities; dull and grey. But you make a good point that she hasn't yet been shown, so it's possible Tom has something up his sleeve.

I suspect it's one of those cases when someone isn't shown in ether vision deliberately (until The Grand Reveal Time). Welcome to the forum! IIRC, the closest thing we've seen is Coyote's point of view (a being who "swims in the ether", so he looks through the ether ALL the time) and she looks....like a woman carved out of stone. She looks EXACTLY the same. God-sight is not the same, however.

Yeah since it's obvious there's layers of Ether sight known. Coyote's sight would count if not for Coyote is a unreliable narrator
