Which it did...Due to perspective, Paz's arms seem to have become detached in the last two panels. (Also, if anyone can tell me how to edit the thread title to correct the typo, I would be obliged) [Update: typo fixed. Edit subject field in post seemed the obvious thing and thanks for pointing this out, but it wasn't accepting my changes to begin with. Anyway, fixed now.]

Edit post, it'll be in the subject field at the top.
Anyway, no fight, good. So where is this all going?
Edit: Proboards.

Wait, what? The comic is updating at a different time now? Bleh. EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot the clocks went back this weekend but the comic publication time doesn't change

Time for her to flex her Ra powers. Break down what's behind it all

"Like for change time real. For becoming a god real."
Looks like she will tell Paz everything. Curious how Paz will react, though I am fairly certain she won't be much nonplussed by it. Bit like how Anja was about time travel. "That happened? Oh, how interesting. Tell me more!"

Bit like how Anja was about time travel. "That happened? Oh, how interesting. Tell me more!" I guess Paz would be a bit excited and a bit terrified. It's a powerful, intoxicating mixture - unless/until the fear starts to dominate. Then it is not so much fun anymore.

But I think Paz will be fine with it as long Kat is fine.

I don't think Kat will think she is becoming a god any more now than before she meet the Norns and saved Annie. From Kat's perspective, the Norns were the ones that made the time travel shenanigans happen. Kat couldn't, and as far we can tell, still can't do that on her own. Kat may wonder why the Norns were so willing to help her, but Kat seemed to accept the explanation that the Norns helped because they knew they would, had before, and would do so again. As said on this page, Kat is just trying to help her friends and sometimes that involves etheric beings that can do things she can not.
I am projecting a little because I think Kat's innocence is a big part of what makes her character interesting. I think Kat realizing she is becoming a god will be part of the end of her story arc. I like this middle part of her story arc and I am in no hurry to move on to the end.

"Theorizing that one could time travel, Kat stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator - and vanished. She awoke to find herself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not her own, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. And so Kat finds herself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that her next leap... will be the leap home."

I don't think Kat will think she is becoming a god anymore You mean she used to think so? When? Oh - you didn't mean "anymore", you meant "any more". NOT synonyms. (Also looks like confused verb tenses, but with time travel...)

Announcing she intends to become god doesn't sound like something Kat would say. Announcing she has some wildly ambitious new project that will make everyone a little worried about her seems a lot more likely. Even if that project *is* in effect becoming a god, there's no way Kat would phrase it that way.
I hope we address what's going on with the robots soon. It's been two chapters since they started getting new bodies with no follow-up and I'm terribly excited to see what's next for them.

1. And soon if not next, Zimmy comes by and jokingly asks if Paz has roughed up anyone with her gang:-).
2. So would Kat have any use for a Starship?

Oh - you didn't mean "anymore", you meant "any more". NOT synonyms. "Any more" as a determiner describes an indefinite quantity of something. As an adverb it has the meaning of "no longer" or "in the past, but not now", and when used this way (in end position of the sentence), it can be written as one word, "anymore", especially in American English. "Theorizing that one could time travel, Kat stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator - and vanished. She awoke to find herself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not her own, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. And so Kat finds herself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that her next leap... will be the leap home." Her only guides on this journey are the Annies, her best friends from her own time, who appear in the form of holograms that only Kat can see and hear.

The "I've had a lot on my plate or mind and thats why things haven't been great with us" has two common resolutions in my experience.
1. "I've sorted my shit out and don't have that stressor anymore, so lets work on this"
2. "I'm about to have more, so where does that leave us."
Not saying this will end in a breakup. I just think Kat is more in the "oh crap the implications of that resolving means even more is on my mind" camp then the "and now my stress is gone" camp. I'm familiar with the conversation Kat and Paz are having. Maybe I'm reading the tone wrong, but this relationships seems donzo. Hope im wrong, I love Paz, animal speech is best superpower.

That is a possibility and it wouldn't be much fun, yeah. But I think Paz will be fine with it as long Kat is fine. I'm pretty sure they will both be fine for now. This would only become a problem if Kat's power grows beyond her ability to handle it, or beyond Paz's ability to put up with it. Right now they both seem relieved and willing to patch things up.

I'm not sure I agree with it being okay, but then again Annie seems to have failed to mention the part where Paz essentially was trying to softcore lynch Annie.

Annie knows a thing or two about bein' a crappy person. So she could have been a little light on the details.

"...I really saw what I could do for real." (...said with. slightly raised left eyebrow!)
This might suggest that Kat might be intending to use time-travel abilities for other purposes. Interesting plot complications ahead!

Paz bullied Annie. It's lame but not overwhelmingly condemnable, especially when it's only really been a single case rather than a bad pattern. It ain't the end of the world if it's resolved by just letting it go, especially if Annie isn't gonna crack down on her about it. She's come to terms with people doing much worse to her.

"But I mean I really saw what I could do for real."
Next page:
"And DAYUM! You gotta admit this haircut I saw in my future self is so hot!" "Wanna know what else I can do for real?"
"What?"
"To look real pretty in a long dress, you gotta see that!"

Suddenly wondering when Paz is going to casually mention seeing Kat's MechaGod form at the end of The Torn Sea. I feel like the most plot-relevant thing that's going to come out of Paz and Kat's resolution is Paz and Annie being on good enough terms to put two and two together with what they've both seen.

I just had the same thought last night and hoped it wouldn't come up in today's page so I could say I called it before it happens. Tom pays so much attention to detail and lays the seeds for later plot points so carefully, the fact that Paz saw what she saw has to be important eventually.
