Ooh, I knew it. Every time the TicTocs are seen it is for a reason. It is going to show Anja something that sets something else in motion, maybe Anja and Donny's whole romantic relationship?

Oh wow, this has huge implications. Anja and her other friends were aware of the robots beneath that warehouse and perhaps that led to the research led that made Anja's and Dolans Ether-technological system possible.
So did Kat cause that? For how much of the comic are those Katbirds responsible?
Half expecting Kat made the hairclip too.

Half expecting Kat made the hairclip too. Snort. Is Kat actually Coyote? Should this be renamed Gunnerkat Court?

Have to comment on the creativity of panel 3-4 which show Don & Anja following the 'Toc to the warehouse/future lab. Trading off the potential to show the 'Toc above the warehouse in panel 5 for drawing the 'Toc huge in #3 and neatly framed with the characters in #4 makes the 'Toc and the event look more significant. Not sure I'd do this for an action sequence outside of a memory, dream, etc. because the 'Toc being the size of a parade float relative to the characters in #4 might take something away from a serious action scene or dramatic moment or whatnot, but here it works.

Poor Kat, she was already feeling the pressure of having to save Annie, now she discover her action might have had a significant impact on Don and Anja becoming who they are, including her parents.
Maybe it's safer if you try to avoid the spoilers Kat, they're not good for your health.

I'm full-on expecting a TicToc to be the one to bring the seed Bismuth to the first meeting of the Court and Forest now.

A bit like Bran Stark tuning out during the Battle of Winterfell, while making sure all the ducks that needed to be in place are timelined up. Or the machine in Babylon 5 that forever cycles through a thousand years, allowing Delenn and Sinclair to transform themselves. Hopefully we don't get presented with the scenario Robert Heinlein described in "All You Zombies". Is Kat Coyote? Then is Annie Jones? Is *that* what the psychopomps have in mind for her?* * No less weird than my other notion that they want Annie to train Kat as a cyber spirit guide, since they 'do not deal in electrical appliances'

So, now she's gotta set that up. "Any other things involving uncannily pivotal objects or locations that I need to queue up, Mum? Working on a clock here (or not, because what is time anyway, right? You're going to lose your daughter, woman), hahahaha!"

Pieces were being moved across the board alright. Wildspec: it's not going to stop here. " Credited with" very next page seems Jones broke her rule for not interfering with humans. What if this was a request from Kat since Jones remembers every second of her existence which would include changes in timelines

I'm full-on expecting a TicToc to be the one to bring the seed Bismuth to the first meeting of the Court and Forest now. Yeah, if it turns out that by this universe's time travel rules Kat can engineer her own birth, then she might as well be responsible for the Court's creation while she's at it. That was basically my only reservation with the "Kat created the Seed Bismuth" theory, but we have seen stranger, and it does fit with Coyote's theory (if it turns out he was right).

You know what's older than the Court? And where NO ONE knows where it came from? And what has immeasurable powers even by present standards??? FutureKat made PastJones JUST to prove Coyote and his whole "I existed before people realised I existed" wrong, because then she can go "Timetravel, boom, fixed all your problems."
