Also possible! But I am not sure whether she has gotten nicer in general or just towards Annie. Remains to be seen imo. I agree it is heartening to see her more comfortable.

17. Will Renard one day inhabit his old body again?

18. Why did the Court recruit Zimmy (and the rest of the Chester students)? What happens with them when they are too old to be students (not saying "graduate" on purpose because likely many of them never graduate)?

19. Why and how are Hollow Fairies initially created? (Coyote: "The Court wants what it wants.")

21. Who is Annie's crush?

22. Why did Surma never tell Annie about her condition? Was anyone of the adults ever planning on doing that? If not, why?

24. Will Coyote's tooth ever return, or did it serve its purpose in the story by cutting Shadow 2 from the floor?

25. Why are there no rats in the Court (but plenty of spiders)?

26. Of what kind is all the data the Foley people work on? ("There's always a bunch of data to mess with.")

27. Who installed the shield protocol on the Court robots?

28. Why did Surma not want Annie to be born in the Court, but wanted her to be educated there later? Did she fear the Court would do something to the newborn child?

And my personal pet peeves:

30. Will we ever get to know what the Court thought about the Torn Sea incident? Or what Renard thought about the plan to free Jeanne? Or why he was not present?

31. Will any of the disturbing or downright abusive relationships between certain characters be resolved or at least improved?

32: Who is the Artilleryman? And is there something of his legacy left in the Court like with the other Founders? (for example refusing to participate in the Arrow Plan.)
33: For that matter, what will the role be of the Arrow?
34: What is Coyote's Great Plan that, at discovery, will cause Loup's death among other things?

If they've cannibalized the extraction plant they're doing something that needs extraction, purification, and control of unconventional energy on an industrial scale. People in the Court seem to like defensive barriers so I'll guess they're either going to seal themselves off from potential threats or seal the potential threats off from them. The former option would probably be less ambitious.

Not sure they could figure out what the Court is up to from examining the equipment even if they manage to activate it, though I guess they might decide that the Court is doing something they wouldn't like...

Would they attack the Court more than they already are? Being on an island with lots of lights, the plant was fairly well situated for defense where it was. If they didn't want to guard it the Court could have disabled the facility by removing key components and anything telling about its operations, or strip it of anything that would be difficult to replace, and doing that would have used a lot less manpower than moving it. There's no need to knock down and move the entire plant now unless they're going to put it up again somewhere else.

I was thinking more along the lines of Loup probably being (semi-god-like and all) able to "warg" into Forest creatures, who could then be his eyes ears and hands "on the scene"... it might be that "up close", thru them, he could figure out what the Court was up to at the station (rather than being "blinded by the light" from afar).  If the Court suspected this possibility as well, they have to move the station far away, outside the reach of Forest minions...

I don't think that would help "Loup" or anything that uses etheric means of study... I figure the causes/effects are so far removed in such a complicated way that navigating it's like trying to thread a barrier maze. And sure, the plant was on an island for security but probably also because it extracts ether from its environment (from the surrounding water, mostly... hopefully). Not sure what happens to humans if their etheric energy/potential/whatever is extracted but it is probably not good.
