I feel like that's basically the case with Zimmy > Paz.
Now, instead of an angry Squirrel Girl, we have the reality warper.

Also, we seem to have an "alternate reality" (i.e. one of the Annies is from the "normal" universe) and I can't help but think that Zimmy would be really handy to have around for that sort of thing.

Here's hoping that Zimmy has at least stopped translating wrong things to Gamma on purpose to control her. Or maybe washes herself occasionally. Was this confirmed by Word of God somewhere? Because my interpretation of that scene was always that Zimmy overreacts, sees the worst in people, then passes that along to Gamma via her translation. I thought that was the point of having Zimmy get needlessly angry and defensive of Gamma at Margo RIGHT BEFORE Gamma asked Annie if they all think she's stupid because that's the impression she gets from what Zimmy tells her they're saying. |

Great, I'm now imagining Paz walking into every scene in the comic and giving sarcastic commentary anytime anybody uses their skills/ powers/ abilities/ traits. Did some rereading, and it struck me that this page has Red kind of looking like Paz does here. It is of course not exactly the same. But both are deeply concerned about their lover's wellness and strongly blame Annie for doing supposedly harm to that.

This might just be myth, but on the subject of Zimmy’s size, I recall hearing that the majority of human growth occurs when asleep. Which Zimmy doesn’t do. |

I don't know why, but the three characters that I imagined Paz passive-aggressively threatening were Tony, Parley and Boxbot. I wanted an insult for Smitty, but I wasn't sure how. His power can sometimes be hard to describe. "Whatcha gonna do, ORGANIZE STUFF AT ME???" |

Quick interpretation of Becky & Hazel's expressions here:
Panel 4 Becky: "See?! See?! I TOLD you we should have done something earlier!"
Panel 4 Hazel: "...Ok, fine, jeez, you were right. Now let's get out of here so we don't have to deal with Crazy Demon Girl over there."
Panel 7 Becky: "Sorry about that, Annie...I'm on your side, I swear."
Also, note that Hazel has her arm on Paz's back in Panel 7 - comforting her, but also kind of subtly moving her along as fast as possible. Good old Hazel, usually to the side of things but always there with a plan of action when it really counts. She really has had such a rich character arc!
But now, it seems that I must sadly say farewell to my favorite character Becky's time in the spotlight for now. Alas! I can only hope that we return to the main plot with her & Hazel eventually. In the meantime, I GUESS Zimmy and Gamma are pretty interesting on their own. And that Annie kid too, even though she barely even counts as a character.
