I use Imgur personally, although they seem to be desperately trying to be a social media site, not an image host. (And oddly did away with paid accounts years ago.) Oh imgur, yeah. Quality hosting but don't forget to mark your images as private or else users could flock up your comments to complain about your "disrupting the user base with meaningless content" because they're not memes or something. They sound so cult about memes...

Plot twist: It's a double dream and Annie is attacking that guy now. Probably trying to bite his arm off or something.

"Goddamn" is considered a worse swear than "damn." "Damn" is pretty mild. Seconded: this is accurate to my experience (midwestern U.S.). Of course, technically what counts is how it's considered in England, since that's where both Tom and Annie are from. There are some notorious differences between British and American swearing. But I doubt this is one of them. I will also point out that this particular phrase has occurred in Gunnerkrigg Court before, courtesy of Zimmy--though not spoken with nearly as much energy. Do not worry, Zimmy has cursed with more energy on other occasions.

They sound so cult about memes... I don't know if you need an account for it, but if you put it in "images" instead of "posts" it's basically the equivalent of unlisted videos on youtube. But yeah I've long since dropped photobucket into the same category as imageshack, that being "probably technically usable but don't bother." Fortunately, imgur seems to be going really hard on internetmemeslmao stuff so it'd be harder for them to take the same route of charging for prints, mugs etc that the other two went down. Like seriously, who actually buys those urbandictionary mugs?

Is it too late to point out that spiderwebs burn like crazy? Because they do. In fiction, yes. In reality not so much. Fire melts a web more than it burns it. Of course if there's dust or other flammable substances on the web, that will often burn nicely. That said, Annie doesn't need fuel to keep ehr fire going, and she can burn hella hot. Plus, I bet the wisps and the trees those webs are in, burn quite well. Pretty much. "Damn" is basically the only swear that was allowed to be used in Star Trek, for instance. It's generally considered quite mild as cursing goes. But seeing that the wisps are modeled after wasps, that likely isn't spiderweb, but the cellulosic/woodpulp stuff they use to build nests. Wasp nests are really, really flammable.

Plot twist: It's a double dream and Annie is attacking that guy now. Probably trying to bite his arm off or something. I had that thought as well, but for the sake of my sanity, I choose to ignore it. Once you start down that path, it's possible that everything since Annie left the forest has been an illusion, or since the first chapter. Or the wisps could have layers upon layers of illusions. It's turtles all the way down. Or, as Elan puts it:
