I want to know what, exactly, Eggers planned to do when a thousand wisps poured out of that nest he sliced into. speculating wildly here, but if there had been a large number of adult wisps inside, maybe you would have been able to hear them "buzzing" (flapping their wings) even from outside. So maybe he expected just a few adults, or none at all - just larvae or eggs. It looks like there are little "larval houses" inside the hive, but as Eggs says. they're all empty... not even any baby wisps. (Of course this assumes wisps go thru life stages like wasps!) Do you think there's a Queen Wisp.... *dramatic pause* a Queen Chrysa-Wisp... a shape-shifting changeling disguising itself as Parley, Annie, etc. and then infiltrating the teams, causing strife would be an interesting scenario. |
